We also give medicine to our cattle who suffered a dangerous virus we call cow malaria. Things like these are part of our lives here in the bush and we do our best to help our cattle. Especially cows are very important in the lives of the Maasai tribe as they are like our bank. All wealth we have is invested in cows and they are crucial for our way of life. Besides that important parts of our diet comes from our cattle. To catch the cows safely we use a strategy similar to the American cowboys, with a lasso we grab their legs. Its important that you do this sneaky from behind, as else the cow could charge. We have a very very good relationship with our cows but when a half a ton bull charges you it can end very dangerous.
