I bought a bx1880. Paul Short, "The man, the myth, the Legend" and don't forget the "MODFATHER" is the one whom influenced me to go kubota. I currently have a few "Short"(no pun intended) videos featuring my "Mini Killer", nick named after his 2 kubota tractors, a Grand L 5740(Killer) and a bx25d(Lil Killer), as in Kioti Killer. Lol. Anyway, Paul and his wife Kathy make a lot of mods for kubta tractors and they are my favorite ones I have on my bx. I have a few factory oem mods as well. I can hardly wait to use it this coming year.

Hey Jack, Mark here I agree with the BX being a great tractor. We have changed ours out for something a bit bigger and a cab in the LX. But the difference in size makes it a bit tougher to do close in work. I had my BX for 18 months and put 650 hours on it, loved it. Cheers! 🌴☕

I am looking at buying one of these, at least it is on my bucket list. I have a JD 130 riding lawn mower which handles my mower needs, I also have a small trailer and a 40” dethatcher. I have a 38 year old Bob Cat 453 Skidsteer that has a 42” rock bucket that am looking to put an add-a- grapple on, I have a 36” smooth bucket, a 36” toothed bucket with very small teeth, and a homemade set of forks. It can easily transport 14 - 80 pound sacks of concrete. My reason for looking at these is for the convenience of the backhoe on my 2 acre property, and a list of implements, like a rototiller, landscape rake, maybe a box scraper. I rented one from Depot Depot and I like it even more now than when I started my research. When I purchase one, I will have two cute and adorable Swiss Army knife machines…lol. Respectfully submitted

I had a BX25 for several years. I did things with that little tractor that was not ment to do. I lost count of how many stumps I dug up. Many were 24" plus size trees. Yes it takes a while but it got the jub done. I would buy another one in a heart beat. Don't underestimate what you can do with it, you will be very surprised.

Hi Jack, totally agree with the Swiss army knife of the BX23s. Thanks for sharing.

the b serie is a lot better , because of the added traction and ground clearence. I actualy upgraded to the LX 3310 with the cab, love the Lx series.

What’s the recommended trailer size when the front loader and rotary cutter attached?

For the amount of time the average home owner would use the back hoe, I think it is way overpriced. Dollar wise the AVERAGE homeowner would farther ahead with the 2380, same tractor minus the heavier frame needed for the backhoe. If you have very little work for the back hoe, you can hire one in for a lot less $$$$$$

Great video -very informative. Jack is eloquent and obviously extremely knowledgeable. Just as a side-note, I've watched a bunch of videos on this channel and I think this is the first one that I didn't hear Jack use the term "weekend warrior". He's young, so he may not realize it, but that is usually used as a derogatory term. If you want to sell me a tractor, probably best not to start by insulting me. Maybe just stick to describing the use case without labelling it.

Yes, it would be a good tractor for homeowners if it weren't for that F**cking treadle pedal. Until Kubota redesigns this failed feature the JD 1025R is by far a superior choice. Not even close...
