I've ridden motorcycles my whole life on 7X I'm 53 current bike is a 99 Honda Valkyrie got a little tuning the timing wheel but now 110 horsepower and 110 foot pounds of torque at the rear wheel I can pass just about every Cruiser I've ever pulled up next to . My buddy has a 130 horsepower Harley Harley he likes to brag on a lot. He was very upset when I not only kept up with him but passed him quite easily. this bike is awesome my wife and I can go from Evansville to Louisville for lunch and not have any problems lots of room tons of power super quiet and absolutely gorgeous hands-down the best bike ever built........
@@Deke1 not doubting that, but this was the only honda made in U.S.A. by a honda. I'm on the fence about purchasing one now. Not to mention the bike wouldn't cost 100k now. The HD lineup doesn't cost that much. If it was built again in America 🇺🇸 I'm sure it'd do a lot better now than then. The 2004 still sales for 20k +. Talk about holding your value
Hey guys absolutely love your videos. Used to be die hard harley but you have showed me all bikes are awesome. I watch all your videos. Love them all. GOD BLESS
That excessive fender rap is one of my favorite things on the Rune. But that's the beauty about motorcycles: customization and individual preferences is the name of the game.
Holy shit. I started on a GoldWing rabbit hole and then I ended up on the Valkyrie and fell in love. But holy shit it just keeps getting bigger and better.
Very impressive bike for sure. I'm not into cruisers but i'd love to try one lol Local dealership has an 2004 with 60 000 km's on it and they are asking 19 000$ for it!
What in the world did Honda build their own motorcycle to prove the world they could so far ahead of the time unbelievable I have over 15 Valkyrie but love the room
Definitely a work of art and I hope you still own it. My racing side says I'd love seeing a built one but, internals only. It would mess up the collector side and hurt value tho.
I'm trying to decide which gloves to get. The 507 is more like what I'm use to (Sedici Bruno) but I like the idea of kevlar lining the entire glove (508), seems like it would be much lighter and more comfortable for day to day riding. You had 'em made, what's your professional opinion?
Its very refreshing to see a Christian on RU-vid seems like there so much discouraging content at times really made me happy to see a scripture on you channel God bless. Was looking for a motorcycle on ebay and saw a RUNE and was curious so I looked on RU-vid and found your channel I'll differently subscribe. 😇
I found one just like this one with less miles, one state over, and now it's happily stabled with my Stratoliner 1900S, and Triumph Thunderbird. You stated the incorrect weight of this bike its much heavier, and you might not know this, but there is a A and B versions, you have the B version which has the pull back handle bars.
First of love the videos. Secondly Those are awsome bikes. If you like that seating position. You should try a Honda CTX1300 some time. I have ridden both and love both.
In 2006 went in with my brother while he was buying a VTX 1800. And we spend a while staring at the rune the sign "please don't sit on". Its a poster wall bike.
would this bike sound the same as a regular valkyrie with 6-1-6 if you'd customize those exhausts to fit onto this? Probably a little different but much of the same tone right?
I've owned and rode nothing but Harley's for close to 40 years although I haven't rode in the past 4 years if I do get another bike odds are it won't be a Harley. I wouldn't mind trying out one of these but Im thinking some smaller and more nimble
Could be most "unusual" but not most "unique." Grammatically there is no modifying "unique" because it is a simple absolute. Something is one of a kind, unique, or it is not. Something can't be more one of a kind or less one of a kind. But, something can be more unusual.
Honda needs to not make this again, I like the rarity factor and I want to own one one day. I want this to be the bike I take my grand children for a ride on and show them how peaceful riding can be
Still a very expensive bike if they are in pristine condition. Why would you want to buy a rolling piece of functional motorcycle art that wasn't pristine. At my age and riding ability a way too heavy a bike especially with the constantly congested city traffic. Stop and go on this bike? No fun. I was taken with the looks of this bike when it first came out. One of a kind and extremely unique and beautiful. If I was bucks up I would buy one to display in my Man Cave.
Jim Pancake probably because of the research and development process. It costs a lot of money to design and manufacture stuff and get it all to work together. Most bikes they make so many the the R and D pays for itself but when you only make a few thousand of something it never pays for itself.
