I love how the advice is always "you gotta be proactive" "you have to force plays" "you need to be hyper aggressive" and all the TOP TOP TOP junglers in the world are purely opportunistic +EV junglers
@@yuu4482 expected value. Basically only deviating from farm if it has more of a chance of working than it does failing. So say you make the same decision in 1000 games, you'd expect more than 500 times for it to work, ideally 800+
@@stropheumthat's not entirely right, success rate is a FACTOR in expected value, they are seperate. Expected value is the average return of any given play in any situation. For example, let's say you're looking to invade, if the invade works out you will kill the enemy jungler and maybe take camps, but for now lets just say you will kill the enemy jungler. To calculate the EV of this play, we have to take the value of killing the enemy jungler (300g) and divide (technically multiply) it by the chance of success, let's say 75%, this gives us an ev of 225, (300 × 0.75) now, to see whether the invade is worth it we compare the ev of invading to the ev of doing our camps, for our camps the ev is equivalent to the gold gained by completing those camps in the majority of situations. So, we have to compare 225 to our camps, if we are doing 3 camps, it is better to finish clearing and stay up tempo as 3 camps are worth an average of 300 gold, but if we are doing only two camps, or even less, it is better to invade as we are getting less gold than the EV of the invade. My understanding could have gaps, but I believe that is the gist of it.
@@SadToffee I know what EV is, I appreciate the message though! Was going for brevity cause calculating farm gpm, considering jungle downtime, and opportunity cost of spawn timer cooldowns not ticking is a lot for one message xD. Basically best junglers go for near certain ganks so their gpm is very unlikely to slow down is the point
@@stropheum your previous comment could very much misinform somebody who doesn't already understand part of the concept. I understand cutting down for brevity but maintaining informational parity is extremely important and your message, respectfully, did not succeed at doing so.
This is a trash guide. I am master Rengar and this challenger is literally good cause of his macro game. He also goes assasin a lot which is rare in high ranks cause players are not stupid to die to you. You mostly want bruiser Rengar in play. Always max W second if you are not at least above diamond.
I been struggling as a jungle main rengar, thank you alot. I quit the game in middle couple months ago. After all the updates game changes. I became a bad jungler again. Thanks
Good choice for jg. Go top only if you have mastered his combat and know how all toplaners work. Secret is the W. You max W first in tough matchups and q in easier. In jg proceed with Q W E max.
I don't believe I said hard or easy in this video but impressive it still is... very few actually achieve this despite being top 10 Challengers frequently. Yeah, it's easier on a new account but given a Challenge to get the highest win rate at 1000LP? Not sure how many beat it, tbh. Hard it is in general, if it's easy for him? amazing at the game.
