Giles has proven to be solid for the City that has elected him. I live here in Mesa, AZ., and do truly despise the scammer B.S. "I am wearing a White Cowboy-hat" politician sorts who are trying to replace this decent man. I might not agree with all of Mr. Giles' Policies, but I've never felt that he disrespected the people of Mesa, AZ. When/If the 'R' Party rejects authoritarian and un-democratic craziness here in AZ, I'll vote for Giles for Governor. Until then, 'Vote Blue as though your kids' future depends on it' is my belief.

Even before the 'R' party settles down, it might be safe to vote for Giles for Governor as his integrity in that position could help against the craziness. As in if a 'R' would happen to be Governor, he would most likely be the best one. Of course, always feel free to vote 'D' for Governor as well. ** I have NEVER before even suggested the possibility for anyone to vote 'R', but he elicited this from me today. **

I live in AZ too, and don’t know how anyone could support a VP running for President who supported an open border. If she’s elected it will be much worse! Why do you want more of the same? Fentanyl, child trafficking coming across the border. Inflation out of control yet this administration gives thousands to put border crossers in hotels while some of our Veterans are on the streets! I will be the FIRST to say that I was not a fan of John McCain's policies, he almost costed Arizona the Super Bowl for not supporting the MLK JR holiday. Mr Giles very clearly articulates what it means to be an elected official. You stand as a candidate of a political party, but once you are elected, your job is to serve every constituent in that community. It's great to suddenly see the adults crawling out of the woodwork to explain to the rest of the US/world what a functional democracy is.

See, these are the kinds of Republicans that I don't have a problem with (and I used to work for the Republican party when I was a teen). The ones that even when you disagree with them on policy, they still truly care about the country and the people so it isn't hateful. McCain was an example of that, even when I disagreed with him, he was an honorable man and did what he felt was right for his people, but also for the country as a whole.
