Alex, you are becoming really, really good. I have been following your work for a few years, and I must say that you are already a professional at this and really quite better than some journalists. This video, for example, is the reason why you have a future at this, and I would like that people around you notice this and send you to more premiers and happenings around scooter market. I just cannot wait for your EICMA report! Keep it going, I will continue to follow your work, you are the man! P.S. I would kindly ask you if you can find some of your colleagues that are like 190+ cm tall and put them on the bike that you review and just insert their picture from the profile when you talk about ergonomics. That would mean a lot for us that are tall and usually cannot fit on most of the scooters... Thanks!
So much better watching & listening to you going through all the “boring stuff” very few buyers (most probably?), ever go through? Like seeing new ideas coming up in the scooter world.👍🏻 Completely agree about fuel capacity & manufacturers NOT understanding we don’t want to spend our lives at a service station! Great review. Best, Rola (Oregon / USA)
Great as always Alex. About the ADX, in Greece we are many who are waiting to buy one. We support SYM because they make great bikes at very reasonable price. Greetings from West Greece..
Proud of the fact your passion on scooters turned into experiences from official events!! We all thought it was the natural way of things, to get recognition from manufacturers outside of 🇷🇴 And these «official event» videos can skyrocket the channel beyond your imagination😆👏
Great content man, keep up the good work! Can't wait for the proper test when you register the test ride unit. Regarding the Hyper-VVS, 15:02 I think Yamaha has a similiar system with variable valve (It's called VVA) on the 125 cc and the 155 cc.
My good man, next year when I will take lessons for category A for moto, I will replace my adx 125 (which is amazing) with this 400cc scooter. I am very impressed with it and also you do a good job explaining what's up with it and pros/cons. Thanks! 🤘
why u want to replace it? it has good enough power and speed ...im all about economical driving, and to go as far as possible with one tank and not hang around the pumps and give money...I'll take one of these three :1) adx 125 around 2.0-2.7l/100km 2) adx 300 ?/100km and 3) zontes 368g from one review around 3.7/100km...this 368g have better specs and equipment but price around 6k euro
@ATIHD5850 , I feel the need for a bit more power on longer journeys, especially when passing other vehicles. The 125cc adx is good though, I put in 3500kms already and been riding since mid august.
Having owned a SYM Orbit 3 125 for a year and used it in monsoon style rain, freezing cold conditions and anything inbetween I would not hesitate to own another SYM scooter and I really would like one with a bigger engine . Also it's been 100% reliable doesn't burn a drop of oil and will start instantly any weather
I made a mistake there is one thing wrong and that is the indicator light that flashes on the dashboard doesn't work ( bulb probably) but it was like that when I got it second hand
I remember in one of your previous videos. You said you had motorbike riders coming to work to buy a maxi scooter for commuting and keep the motorbike for long rides. After a while, they sold their motorbikes. Watching your review of the ADX TG400, I think you will find a few more motorbike riders might be considering the ADX TG400. I know I am.
I think any motorcycle rider owes to himself to at least once for a season have a decent maxiscooter in their stable, to experience it and then decide is the scooter lifestyle is or isn't for them.
Thanks Alex for dedicated and meticulous review. Sym did a great job. ADX 400 pricing is justified, but very unfortunate for me. To explain, for adventures re himalayan 450 undercuts it significantly and is far superior (yes I know it's a diff category), but as a scooter it is also undercut by again more potent options. I'm looking fwd to your ADX 300 review, I hope it's going to be a real deal. Keep on with your passion ;)
I'm only part way through the video, so can't comment, but your English, where did you learn it? It is really so good, you speak so much better than many people I know from Scotland!
The scooter market will soon compete with the motorcycle market. Especially when it comes to touring. Why pay a minimum of 14k euros for a motorcycle when you can get a decent touring scooter for 5k euros.
The scooter I rode to the event, the zontes 350e costs between 5000 and 6000 euros brand new depending on your market and it blitzed the 1250km trip in 13.5 hours total 2500km in 27 hours without breaking a sweat and in total comfort. That's proper big touring motorcycle pace.
Great job Alex i really love your truth for your critics about the Motorcycles.keep up the great job. Iam not lover of the off road but city easyness and touring. Do you think i need the ATG 400 or 368G as new ones is better for city and touring?? And last is worth spending more for honda forza 750 2023 or honda adv used models smaller price?? Thank you
I think if you don't off road look at other maxiscooters. My 350E is awesome for touring, so is a cruisym and maybe in the future we might see a Cruisym 400. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
@@RideWithAlex i want to go to the port half an hour and the go to an island and your.. Island are small in greece. Something like this. I dont make so far like you are crazy🤣🤣🤣🤣
How about motorway, how does it drive on open road Alex. This is a nice scooter and priced correctly but we alsso need to know practicality in open road.
We didn't have motorways in the test route, I will try that in the spring when hopefully we have one in the showroom and I can do whatever I want with it.
Hey Alex a question. I saw some videos on youtube with the new Honda adv 160 will it ever be released in Europe and Greece Romania etc.? I know we already have the 350 and the 750 .
Hi Alex, can you confirm if ADX has the smart key with the hidden normal key so that in the situation that there is an issue with the remote sensor the scooter can be unlocked with the key. I ask as I've got a Honda ADV350 and had to have my keyless system replaced under warranty. This would have been, according to the Honda tec a £1600 + vat cost outside the warranty period. I love the Honda but will not be replacing it with another while it has the current keyless system in place as it is almost half the cost of the scooters current value if it goes wrong again and the overide procedure is ridiculous and means you have to carry the instruction manual, the seat opening leaver and the special override code at all times. That aside Alax I love your work and the mad maveric way you do things and the ride on the ADX125 was a fantastic video. I've been riding since 1977 Have owned more motorbike than I can remember and still own 3 but 15 years ago I got my first scooter and have owned one ever since. Your videos are inspiring and I'm glad I found your channel. Many thanks for you're hard work.
Glad you enjoy the video and thank you for the praises. I didn't have time to properly check out the key, from the slides I see it has a mechanical part. In the spring when we get a test ride unit in I will go through it properly and look at everything.
Hey Alex, found your channel recently and I've been binge watching your videos since. Do you believe the ADX TG 400 could handle a trip like Athens to Thessaloniki comfortably? Would that be too much to ask? I know you haven't driven it yet as much as you would want, but your first idea would be appreciated. Congrats on your content regardless.
@@cristianstanescu2 it was good, but on the roads I tested it on plus the temperatures I want a bit of airflow, on the highway sustaining high speed for hours it's a different thing and I have to test it properly. Curently it felt similar wind protection to a cruisym or maxsym 400
Looking at the slides most are just filled with marketing buzz words and the sabertooth design is just laughable with how they describe it as Aggressive, nimble, compact, muscular and powerful its all words i would expect to see describing an American muscle car or sports bike not a maxi scooter with offroad capabilities. Don't get me wrong i loved my Sym Jet x for the short time i had it and it definitely showed me that Sym is a brand to rely on in the future so I'm not hating on them just more of an observation on they probably used an Ai to write the slides or it was a badly translated text. i love how the Honda ADV looks so this will be good to see how it compares to real world testing and reviews my next scooter may be an ADV but if this scooter has glowing reviews on release then it will certainly make me think twice
However I can see one big problem already with this machine which is typical for Sym. Wrong dimensions for tall people. Even TL 508 is horrible for tall people 😞 Don't know why in general they have such horribly small distance between handlebars and steps/floor.
I am in the market for the adx a0. But yet I also thinking of waiting zontes 368g. What is your opinion for these two as manufacturers? I think sym adz is more safe choice as it comes to reliability?
Zontes is newer and time has to pass for their reliability to be proven. Currently they are doing good but I can't say how a Zontes scooter runs after 10 years because there's no 10 year old Zontes scooter.
