Yep. He does a deep dive on the optics and software effects on the output. It is amazing how much sensor they got in this little guy. I just wish my Mavic 3 was given this much engineering attention. We went months without fixes, features or anything 😕 Look at the surface area of these DJI Drone model camera sensors: Mini 2: 28.46mm² Mavic Air 2. 30.72mm² Mini 3 Pro. 69.12mm² Air 2S. 116.16mm² Mavic 3. 224.9mm² Selling my beloved Air 2. It's great, but redundant with the Mini 3 Pro and Mavic 3!

Just buy a better phone and u have a better package than the new controller😁 Its range isnt as good as the normal one and 700nits isnt great either, sure has some other advantages and downsides but i wouldn't mind too much I would wait for something like a Air 3 because the mini 3 update seems too small for me from your standpoint.

@@froznfire9531 yo, hello fellow drone fiend. I have an Ipad that has dji fly app on it, but I’ve only used it a couple of times. It’s truly terrible if there’s any day light at all. So annoying as I was really looking forward to using the larger screen, and not having to use my phone, but honestly it’s so bad on the iPad that it’s unusable in most day time situations. That’s why this new controller seems so tempting, but it is a lot of money to fork out for the Mini @ controller, then the obligatory purchase of the fly more kit, plus I have all my Freewell filters on my air 2, so that’s another £100 or so I’d have to spend. It’s really annoying isn’t it. I really want one, but I don’t know if it’s just coz it’s the new and exciting drone at the moment. What are you flying at the mo? And do you have more than just the one drone? I think the weight is a big plus, as when I’m out on walk looking for shots, my Camera bag can get pretty heavy, especially during prolonged up hill treks etc. & more so with summer approaching. I have a Pgytech onemo, holding my camera & 2 lenses + filters + my Osmo pocket +accessories & gorilla pod 1K, + my air 2, controller and 3 batteries, then the tripod strapped on the outside. & usually need a power pack for phone and Osmo and a bottle of water. So the sun 250 thing is also ideal. It’s just that there’s other equipment I do need and it’s just over a grand all in for the Mini 3 + controller and fly more Kit. I’m in needing a ‘longer’ lens as I only have 17-28 and 28-75mm, and I’m buying the RSC2 as well. Sorry to go on so much about it. It’s just that none of my mate really do any photographs or video stuff, so RU-vid comments are when I get to talk gear-geek stuff. There’s a London Camera Exchange in Plymouth (think that the closest one to me) where I recently purchased an A7iii brand new, so I was planning on seeing what they would do for my previous set up, either cash or part exchange. Still really good condition, and original boxes etc. Maybe that’s the way to go about it. Buy the RSC2 & a 70-200 or the Tamron equivalent, then try and part exchange my previous gear for the Mini 3. We’ll see.

which controller did u get? The new one either builtin screen seem to have a worse range. But both should easily get you to 1-3 miles so I wouldn't care, not legal anyways

@@froznfire9531 I got the built in controller suppose to be delivered yesterday but had issues with the delivery company so should be able to pick it up later today.

@@froznfire9531 Got it today took it out no complaints the built in rc is amazing a top quality product and being a total novice at drone flying I absolutely love it! I've got a massive open cast area close to me and had strong winds today it held up brilliantly! Just waiting on my fly more kit now so I can fly for longer.
