This is what I'm telling my daughters 'texting", "Now in 80% conditions one can't differentiate between true black ice and the real traffic-way, Pavement or Road, Sidewalk or Grass patch. 👈
Bruh. I'm from California but when I went to Reno, Nevada with my grandma she almost lost full control of her car because of black ice. It is the scariest thing ever. Even if you're driving 30 miles under the speed limit you can still lose control and even if you brake, your car will just slide across the ice. Nope for me.
Nothing special about black ice…black ice is called that because the ice is see though and perfect like glass so you see the black cement under the ice…hence the word “black ice” so when your driving and you start seeing an open road cement with the lines you think your in the clear so you speed up thinking there’s no ice..and when traffic slows down and your at speed and brake then that’s when you feel your slipping and not stopping at speed so you crash hard…that’s why black ice for driving is dangerous because while in your car and driving 99% of the time you don’t see it feel it..
