the good thing about him is he is not carbon copy of Mainoo but complements him. Man Utd midfield duo is set for years and they hardly costs us anything.
Agree. Laughable over-hype at this stage. Give the guy 3 years, he could be a regular for United or Scunthorpe. We’ll see. Promising, but not there yet
Have it watched him play bro this guy is gonna destroy it this season remember man United produce a player every season and so far him and amas have it upon them
@@willow_ddot755 I hope you’re right, but I’ve seen tons of examples of youth players impress in pre-season as well, and never play regular first team football higher than league two. I have great hopes for him, but keep my expectations realistic for now
No one saying his going to be a superstar.. Very young lad, give him time.. But u just know when u see someone play for the first time, like I did the other day againts Arsenal.. The kid's got that natural ability, he stood out for me straight away.. That's when u know we've got a player on our hands.. let's not judge or compare him to any one just yet.. he will forge his own path, yrs to come .. we all be saying his name.. The greatest fans in the world , will have a song for him.. Ben- Hagg is building a utd side for a sustained period of success .. What better way , than your academy player's. .
I really wanted to know why Shola Shoretire didn't renew his contract with Manchester United. He seemed like such a promising player and barely got any chances with the Red Devils' first team. If I'm not mistaken, he's now going to play for PAOK. Even though I'm not a United supporter, I thought he could be a direct replacement for Bruno Fernandes, gradually working his way into the starting lineup, or at least be loaned to another English club. Sometimes I feel like English players are often overhyped; they can be good, but not necessarily brilliant.
Shola shoretire was never good enough to make it...he actually had no stand out quality beyond being a good finisher. No chance he could even be a sub for Bruno
He was a great talent when he was younger. But never quite developed as he got older. It happens so often with young talent. They look like future stars but fall well short of it when it comes into their crucial developed years 16 to 21. Most don't live up to the hype
I'm a big fan of following young talents, no matter where they're from. For example, I've been keeping an eye on Zirkzee since his Bayern Munich youth days... He also took a bit longer to develop, but I hope he really makes it at Man United. Sometimes, players have the talent, but it just takes them longer to fully mature. Maybe it's the same case with Shola Shoretire as it was with Zirkzee. I'm still holding off on judgment until he's at least 25 before saying he didn't make it. Let's wait and see what happens with Shola Shoretire in the coming years.
Ten hag has already stated thay collyer will be the 4th graduate under him to make the 1st team. Harry Amass will also be there or there abouts as will Obi-Martins and Ethan wheatley. Our Academy is back in a big way and producing some of the best young talent in England and europe. I honestly believe the under 18 Treble class of 23/24 will provide the backbone of our team for the next ten years at least. Then we also have Shea Lacey, Kai Rooney and now Chido Obi-Martins. Frightening Talent and the future for us is bright RED
Lol. Let me quote the muppetiers: “Feelings inside the club is that he’s not ready. He’s missing that spark that the other people that came up have had. He’s at least not going to be a saviour at CDM this season” - This might not be 100% right, but close enough. Muppetiers have good sources, and has been right way more often than not. So, let’s calm this down a bit.
kobbie the man for me toby not got the balance he has but hope he proves me wronge but more like a fletcher type but kobbie got to play only bad game for england was spain but spain used the wings and the england keeper kicked it long so cant blame him but good luck to toby
I seriously do not think this kid is that exceptional . He appears a bit hasty sometimes . It would be good to see what he becomes though. I think there is a lot of media hype than deserved .
Y'all should stop all these new this and new that. Infact these United podcasters and RU-vidrs are destroying the progress of the team. Hyping players unnecessarily there by making them not to Grow. His name is Colyer, not new this or new that. Rubbish.
Talking about his physical growth as though he has "Hulked Out" Joke!! and then mentioning he looks like Paul Scholes... Joke!! This is the worst analysis of a player I have EVER seen... click-bait rubbish.
