Tory has always been my favorite female character seeing her development especially in season 4 and 5 has been a joy to watch

It's high time tory and johnny interacted.... They haven't had a direct conversation since season 2.. the creators say it's because there are so many characters in the show but i feel it's high time to cut out some cannon fodder useless characters like Chris Mitch nate and Bert... Keep Kyler I'm kinda enjoying him.... Also Miguel and tory also deserve a conversation..they're acting like they never interacted ..... If Sam and Robby can have a conversation why not Miguel and tory??? Even when Miguel has that flashback of falling in so5 ep5 it's edited that it was Sam who was yelling in actual reality it was tory....

Overall I'm still a super Samanta fan. But I do admit I enjoyed Tory in Season 5. Yeah, I found Season 2 and 3 Tory pretty scary and insane. Sam is just so cute and pretty much dragged into karate several times.

What Tory had to go through this season was insane but I'm glad that Sam and Tory have ended their rivalry and now have a mutual respect for each other and fought along side one another.

Tory's the only one to stay true this whole time. What a beast. Cobra Kai never dies!!

I really enjoy Tory as a character from Season 4-5, she is admittedly an attention grabber in Season 2-3, but their is a lot less nuance with her character in those seasons. I just hope they can do something to give her own legitimate victory as it seems like everything she does gets tainted in some way.

Truth be told I actually assumed we wouldn't see her again after season 2, because she just went nuts at the end, surely there was no coming back from that? But I'm so glad they kept her because she is easily my favourite of the kids. I hope we can get a full season of her a Robby as a couple in season 6. From what little we’ve seen from the two of them as a couple so far, they seem to fit much better than her and Miguel. They hated each other at first but there was also a mutual respect, like with Tory allowing him to stay at Cobra Kai even after landing a hit. It could be argued she only started dating Miguel to stick it to Sam. Maybe next season we will have an awkward scene where Miguel and Robby will go out for dinner with Carman and Johnny, and, unbeknownst to each other, both invite their girlfriends! 😬

Samantha and Tory were the likable characters because they are not Mary Sues, they are far from it. Sam has more experience in Karate than nearly anyone in her generation because she trained with her Dad since childhood, but she was burdened by living in the shadow of her father Daniel. Also, in her life she made some bad decisions, but she works at being better. Tory I don't really see as a complete villain, it was a combination of hard living and being misguided when she joined Cobra Kai. We saw her as a bully to Sam, but at the same time, the more we got to know her, the more we felt bad for her. Her home life was tough, she was the lady of the house, has no father, no extended family to support her, her mom is on her deathbed very sick. Samantha and Tory's rivalry was far worse than Miguel and Robby, or Johnny and Daniel, but at least there has been progress for the two girls to put their differences aside for once. Others may think its cute to see a double date between Miguel and Samantha with Tory and Robby. Well I guess one of the two girls would kindly decline that idea saying that they are not BFF's yet, but at least there is some mutual respect between the two. If its a double date were to happen as and Irish Pub and the two girls say something slick to the other, then a Jerry Springer like Donny Brook cat fight can ensue and poor Robby and Miguel have to step in and break their girlfriends up and sit them out for a time-out, and the bouncer would not get involved because he might get his eyes gouged out and get kicked in the groin. When Daniel and Johnny talk old times about the shit they have done to each other, they just sit back laugh about how much jerks they were.

I think Tory will be the new sensei of Cobra Kai by the time the story is all done. I'd like to see her lead a truly reformed version of the dojo. * She's Kreese's TRUE last chance at redemption; yes they played "grandfather/grandaughter" to get her access to speak to him while he was imprisoned, but let's face it...that's close enough to the bond the two really do share. * The whole "leader" subplot revolving around her is practically grooming her for this kind of ending. * She openly admits she has no prospects outside of karate. What better way to go all in than becoming a sensei. A redeemed Kreese and removed/deceased Silver, along with her character growth would give her version of Cobra Kai the chance to stay on the right side of things and succeed where Johnny's attempt at reviving it had failed.

I wonder why The creators gave Amanda and Tory zero interaction for season 4 when season 3 did a great job building that relationship and connection between those two characters. Couldn’t she have gone to Amanda after She felt betrayed by Kreese?

As you pointed out, the key to Tory being liked was that Sam is so unlikable. I really hoped they would have given us more about her home life than the couple of minutes we got. Just before Sam comes to her house, Tory is literally all alone in life.

Just glad that Tory & Sam are finally on good terms with each other, and seeing them work together to take down to Cobra Kai, and in Season 6, I hope they find common ground within each other, and apologize to each other, so they can finally bury their hatchet, as they realize that it is time for all of the main kids to come together and fight as one.

I really started to like Tory when she went to Amanda for help. I watched an old video of yours regarding how Sam is a terrible girlfriend/person and laughed my butt off. Do you still feel that way about Sam?

Tory’s redemption arc was definitely the second half of the season and showed how much she wanted to take Terry down, and searched ways with the help of Kreese. She opened her eyes when she saw how he views everyone as tools, then noticed that Sam wants to just grow and be better with Miguel, while Tory is happy with Robby because he balances her. Tory used her anger and inner strength to fight back against Cobra Kai

Tory is the most interesting female character on the show and Peyton is the best female actress, She ate this season 👏💁🏼‍♀️ She always have very interesting moments and Tory of the teenage characters has the best arc, which is very intriguing and unpredictable.

At first I found her annoying especially since she won't leave sam alone but later on when I heard her story I began to like her and her development in season 4-5 made her the best female character

It's my opinion. I don't think she was more loyal to Kreese than Robby. You said as well: she didn't know HOW to leave Cobra Kai. She felt that her dojo was still the only place she would have been ever accepted and this, coped with the fact that she wanted to take down Silver, pushed her to decide to let Robby leave without saying the truth to him. Miguel as well said that when you are at Cobra Kai you learn to believe that there's no other place for you. Anyway. I can't wait to know what is going to happen in the next season. One thing I'm sure: she and Sam are NOT friends. Not yet, at least. They have ended their rivalry, but there are too much things between them for just be both against Silver to make them friends. They need something else, like Robby and Miguel did. Not necessarily a fight. Just something that makes them bond, as you said.

I really liked your video on Tori’s character in season five this year. I really like Tori’s character in season five she has come along way since season two. I really liked how Tori was a mentor to Devon I think she would’ve left cobra Kai if Devon did not join she stayed in cobra Kai so since he Cham tycoon and silver could not hurt Devon. I like the little interaction with chosen in season five episode two that was pretty awesome. another thing I liked was in season five episode nine when Miguel told Sam that she needs to listen and give Tori a chance the reason why they got along was because of Miguel telling Samantha to give Tori a chance. it was pretty awesome seeing Tori and Samantha teaming up at the end of episode nine and all of season five episode 10 I really love seeing those to work together hope I get to see more of it in season six. I think we will see Tori join Robbie and Samantha and Miyagi doe. but I don’t think Tori will join right away because we know that sensei Kim die un really her Tori’s hand in season five episode nine so that’s why she won’t join Sam and Robbie right away but then I think Samantha will tell her dad and chosen it maybe we will see chosen use the healing technique like me Augie always did on Daniel. One thing I hope we see in season six is the healing technique me Augie always used on Daniel hope they bring that back we haven’t seen that yet in cobra Kai. One other thing I would love to see in season six is web seen Tori react with Amanda we seen Tori get along with Samantha in season five now in season six I would love to see Tori interact with Daniel and season six I think that be pretty cool to see

I also liked the parallels that you made between Tory's leadership now with Devon between Sam's leadership in S3 (although Sam took leadership/sensei role of the whole dojo which proved to be too soon because it's a lot harder to lead a group of students compared to just one which proves to be hard enough on its own, but even leaders can make mistakes), I think that if they decide to have Sam take on a leadership role this upcoming season with just Anthony, she'll do a lot better. I am really looking forward to seeing Tory continue to grow & become the person we know she's capable of being. If this season proved anything it's that Daniel's wisdom about how anyone can be a hero is true. If anyone says Sam had no growth in season 5, they are truly blind. She was not only a lot more humble, she grew as a character. Besides, there’s been hints that one of the focus of season 6 will be reconciliation between Sam and Tory.

Enjoyed every Chozen scene, Barnes and Jessica returning, Silver and the rest of the cast, but I didn't like Hawk getting nerfed, Sensei Kim not getting her ass kicked after all the shit she put Tory and Devon through, Hawk struggling against Kyler despite Hawk beating Kyler in 20 seconds in the previous season, Gianni getting demoted from regular to guest star.

I don't believe Kreese saved Tory. I believe it was Amanda. Sure, Kreese saved Tory's home, but that's all he did; then he sent her out to set up Silver and Daniel. However, Amanda was the one who brought Tory groceries and told her to get some help. Neither Kreese nor Silver have the mental capacity of fortitude to help Tory with her aunt. In fact, the would've made everything worse because Tory's aunt is just as much of a snake in the grass as ate the CK senseis. But Amanda WAS Tory and knows how to reach out. See, Silver placate Tory's bullshit, and Kreese encouraged it; Amanda knew the right words for how to turn it off. SHE got Tory back in school and who to talk to to help with her mental health. Unlike the senses, Amanda was firm in telling Tory that she was going to have to do the hard work to get back to semi-normal. It was at the moment when kreese shrugged off Daniel being beayen by Silver as "collateral damage" that it dawned on Tory that she and the others are just pawns and Kreese really doesn't care about her. Forget Kreese; Amanda is the true hwro.

He didnt die but instead got arrested hinting at him still being in the show, but having him go through the same prison stuff as Kreese would make it less interesting, Also for the cobra kai dojo will Kreese be KDE's right hand man or the other way around, hard to imagine Kreese being second in command, but KDE is not gonna just let him walk in and let Kreese be the leader, she was there first she wants to lead the dojo, Terry And Kreese are my biggest questions going into season 6, maybe you could cover that in a video? To me the show feels somewhat finished now. I liked it but with season 5 its become evident that the show lost its core identity and is living off fan service. We all got distracted by how cool Johnny and Daniel teaming up would be and lost sight that the original fun funny concept was the nerds learning Sith karate and using it on the bullies.

Tory was the best thing about season 5. And Peyton List is the best actor of the kids. Its not that I dislike Sam, its just Tory's character is way more interesting, even when she was bad. This season she finally went full circle, and started becoming a strong person, not just a strong fighter. I always liked how Peyton List played her, but agree, this season she's actually my favorite character. The top tier, IMO, is Peyton List, Johnny, and Chozen. Those are the best characters on the show. Miguel and Robby are just slightly behind, they are great characters too. I agree, Sam can be unlikable, and its not even Mary Mouser's fault. She is much more likable than her character. Its the way they write her. They want to show she's flawed, but the problem is she comes off way too self-absorbed, and that's one of the most unlikable traits about someone. And she acts very hypocritical. I don't overall dislike Sam though. I think she has bright moments, and very unlikable/bad ones too. I hope they write her character a little better and show her growing up a bit and shedding some of the immaturity.

Now that Kreese has escaped if he somehow managed to get back cobra kai at some point & was able to run it again (in a way that the writers are able to have make sense by somehow not having him being an escaped convict be an issue) do you think that Tory would join him because it's as you said she never really quit Kreeses Cobra Kai just Silvers?

She was crazy in Season 2, but literally did nothing wrong aside from petty relationship drama with making Sam jealous and of course starting the school fight. In season 3, they completely ruined her character with making her completely dismissive of Miguel despite screaming in agony when he got injured, had zero reason to start a home invasion, and felt her relationship with Robby was forced. Season 4 completely fixed her and made her more believable and also of course fixed the relationship with Robby and made it one of the better relationships in the show. Season 5 continued that trend of making things great for Tory and Im excited to see how she turns out in Season 6.

I went through a scary and bizarre experience a few years back that I'm gonna share here. This is gonna be a long comment and I apologize for that. Anyway, here goes: Early on in 2018 I had the scariest dream I've had in years and I still remember it vividly. In this dream, I was dating this woman. I didn't know who she was, she did not look familiar to me, but I was dating her and for whatever reason I didn't question it. Long story short, she bullied me and I eventually got sick of it and broke up with her. Then she got violently angry and tried to kill me. Everywhere I went she would be there and I would run from her. At one point, she chased me with a chainsaw and I barely got away. At the end, it was night time and I went outside and found my car all busted up. It looked like it belonged in a scrap yard. I didn't see her anywhere, but I could sense that she was watching me from the shadows close by. Then I had a false awakening scenario where I thought I woke up, but I was still asleep and dreaming. I'm lying in my bed thinking I'm awake. It's dark outside and pitch dark in my room. I sit up and turn to my right and I see a woman standing outside my window. It was too dark to see who she was, and she was probably about 7 or 8 feet away from the window. My cousin was staying over that night, so at first I thought it was her out there playing a joke on me, but then I heard her (my cousin) cough in the next room. That's when the fear REALLY hit me and I just froze. Then the woman starts walking towards the window. I shut my eyes and waited for whatever it was she was gonna do, and that's when I woke up for real. It was 1:00am and I went almost 24 hours without any sleep after that. Then a year later, season 2 of Cobra Kai came out and I saw Peyton List for the first time. She looks identical to that woman in my dream, which is weird because I didn't even know she existed until I saw her in Cobra Kai 2. How that's even possible is anyone's guess. Her character in seasons 2 & 3 wasn't too far off from how she acted in my dream, so I legit got scared every time I saw her, especially when she was walking towards Sam in slow motion in the season 3 finale. That was pure nightmare fuel. It was extremely difficult for me to watch seasons 2 and 3 because I kept getting flashbacks of that nightmare. The only thing that helped me through it is knowing that she's not like that in real life. Her character has also mellowed out a lot in seasons 4 & 5 and that helps too. I'm over it now, but it took me a long time.

Well done WatchParty! This video is a must see for all Tory haters. I know you dont have time to read many comments on other clips here on YT, but there are still guys (i dont mention names here due to respect!) who blame Tory for everything in S5. For Daniel and Amanda breaking up, for Sam and Miguel breaking up, for her and Robby breaking up, for Daniel getting beaten up by Silver, for Daniel s choice to close Miyagi-Do, just for everything. Yes, like Miguel said she should have tell the truth about Silver earlier, but some ppl forget she is 17 and felt Kreese was the only guy who looked so much after her and helped her. Robby and Amanda tried that too, and both of them made Tory softer, but in the end it seems Amanda had no interest anymore to speak with Tory after S4 (which honestly shocked me a bit!), but do you think it was a fair action from Amanda just to reject Tory more or less after their final talk in S4? I mean she saw her still in CK throuth the video Sam showed to her, Chozen and Daniel, and she must have known Terry Silver is a terrible and total negative influence to her. But this underlines Amanda never had that strong feelings for Tory, not as much as Robby or Kreese. She only felt responsible that Tory lost her job and wanted to help her getting back on her feet, but then it was done. But yeah WP, in the end Tory told Robby "i think i own you an apology too", which means about not telling him only staying in CK because working with Kreese, and this gives me a very strong hint she will never ever trust Kreese more then Robby, and should Kreese try to contact her in S6, she will tell it Robby 2 seconds later. So if Kreese still plans to take his adopted son Johnny, Johnnys son Robby, and his "granddaughter" Tory back to Cobra Kai but also works together with Daeun, this will never work out since Tory and Daeun hate each other, and nothing what Kreese would tell them about the other will change that. If Tory should fight in the Sekai Taikai with Miyagi Fang, and if she should face some of Daeuns female students there, i am sure Daeun gives her student the order to fight dirty and hurt Tory badly (like Kreese told Bobby Brown or Silver told Barnes to hurt Daniel) as a revenge for betraying her. Thats imo a possible scenario.

Maybe the best character but not the strongest character, Hawk took a hit to the leg and received a special moved and sold it, because he was trying to get up and continue, Hawk is known for being a juggernaut in cobra kai and taking lot’s of big hits a move like that you can’t get up and fight, that’s like part of the quick silver method “man can’t stand, he can’t fight” and a man can’t breathe, he can’t fight, that can kill you it takes your breathe and plus if Hawk was in the same situation what Tory was in of breaking the stone, Hawk would of never said it would break his hands, he understands it’s cobra Kai and pain doesn’t exist and start punching the stone and broke it faster than Tory without needing someone to anger him up to break it like kim-da-un did with Tory because she mentioned that break up with her and robby, So Hawk was the strongest imo, and Tory was the best character in S5 because it was her time. #hawkthestrongestcobra #hawkgoated
