No excuses! Go to therapy deal with your issues before having children or don't have them. Even after he could have went to therapy and parenting classes. These males have to do better. Children don't deserve abandonment and neglect.

Whoa, have an open mind. He left her with a loving family and he felt he was not fit to be a parent. He did the best he could at the time. I grew up without a father but he had a drinking problem. I'm glad I didn't grow up seeing his problem everyday. Therapy at that time was looked down on heavily. It's just not that simple sometimes.

Atiana grew up in a loving home with a man who raised her as his own even after his divorce with her mother. The fact Atiana still lives with Travis and holds him in high regard as a father figure in her life says a lot. Oscar did the right thing and now he's able to have a relationship with his daughter.

He voluntarily inflicted the same pain and neglect he claims he received growing up on his innocent child. Thankfully another man stepped in to raise(and not abuse) his child that he wasn’t man enough to raise.

I think his lying I saw a video were he said his mother was a good mother and that they were poor but he had loved now his saying his mother hit him he said his mother died of cancer that's not cool making excuses for not being a good parent just man up and say you were living your life because you had money and were to busy spending it living life at large but don't lie that's not right

He just didn’t love her mother so he jetted but at least he admits that Travis was a better father to HIS daughter than he could ever be. But the poor kid wound up with her step father full time because even her own mother is too much into herself to raise her own kids. Travis has custody of all of them. He may look like a walking billboard but he raised all 3 kids!!!

Sounds like he felt the best thing to break a generational curse was to take a step back. It’s a shame but as long as the kid is a well adjusted, loved, and responsible let it go.

He broke that generacional curse to create a worse one. It's not an aceptable excuse. If you love your kids you work on being a better person and doing right by them. He selfishshly thought it wasn't convenient for him and he quit that life. It's disgusting how he is trying to play the victim in this. The best thing parents can do for their kids is be present and show love. None of us are perfect but we can definitely give it our best. With his mentality no kids would have parents.
