Hello TI first show I seen was this one on your youtube Chennai with Tyler Perry and I noticed you said you pick a word out the dictionary to describe the person you interview, my question to you is what dictionary are you using to get your words from. Very interesting I always tell my kids and to myself that us as black people Need to keep education ourselves.

Tyler Perry said he got to Hollywood and nobody knew who he was. That’s BS anytime you have a playwright who is selling out packed shows consistently, Hollywood takes notice. They are always looking for material to turn into a movie and capitalize from broadways success. Oprah didn’t befriend him because she didn’t know he was. (She didn’t know him but she knew of him) Oprah was looking for producing material to make money for herself. When he turned his first play into a movie he used Lionsgate for the distribution of his film. He had no deal with them. But during his emergence into Hollywood people were bootlegging films and Hollywood was taking a hit at the box office while Tyler Perry was filling movie theatre seats with the one demographic group that Hollywood didn’t really appeal to African American seniors who could relate to Madea’s message. Remember people would either rent a video or get a bootleg copy on release day. After his movies became hits at the box office, Hollywood came calling during the time of the financial crisis they wanted a piece of his action. Then you started seeing Tyler Perry’s name on the lionsgate logo page.
