They failed the first time because their columns were being lit up by the Bayraktars. Now they move with mobile air defenses. Russia has learnt its lessons. It's what has made them even more dangerous. Ukraine ain't winning this war.
Odessa is a non factor. Ukraine in all its wisdom layers sea mines in the Odessa port area. It is of no use to Ukraine or Russia with all the mines in the water. Russia should just go for Kyiv and end this war
CRUX is US propaganda. Kyiv produces nothing of Ukraine's GDP & so is of no interest to Russia. Odessa will be the next battle. Russia now controls territories that produce 80% of Ukraine’s GDP. Ukraine has lost the war & Ukraine is now a failed state. US arms sales to Ukraine just mean more people end up dead.
Yes, if they want to redouble the number of their death counts and still not get kyiv...Russia can't even take ukraine's 2nd largest city Kharkiv - 25 miles from the russian border...kyiv is unreachable & unattainable for Russia
At this point, it seems that the only way for Russia to stop Western firepower supply to Ukraine is to take Kyiev. Also seems more like that will be the only way to stop Ukraine from fighting back to take captured territory

There is no need to turn to Kiev, it would be the same mistake Hitler made when he targeted London instead of focussing on military targets. I think it is much more likely that Odessa will be targeted. While the Belarusians may help cut the link between Ukraine and Poland hence the supply of weapons from the West.
KIEV is the key, if kiev falls the rest falls. odessa should be blocked, karkive should be taken after donbass once this is achieved, the logistic problem is solved, no ukraine troops attacking Russia from behind them they can re=enforce to take kiev.

Putin should have never attacked civilians and shouldn't have invaded Ukraine. I sure hope his army will be destroyed, and pay a heavy price. If he uses nuclear weapons, his country will be destroyed also and maybe the whole world. I been in the war and is not pretty. Both sides will lose. There are no winners.
Initial attack on Kiev was a Holding Attack by lightly armed airborne forces without requisite Artillery and Infantry. It was aimed to fix Ukrainians holding Kiev to prevent them from reinforcing key battle areas.
They sent a 40 mile long convoy to Kyiv. It was not a ruse. You do not sacrifice the majority of your special operations capabilities (they lost a shit load of Spetsnaz) and strand 1000s of soldiers for weeks outside of your enemy's capitol as a ruse. The attack was a failure. Any attempt to divert from that will be a failure as well.
You are absolutely correct. Russia force were not send to capture Kiev as portrait by all western media. The Russian commandos were sent to take out Gostomel airport at the vicinity of Kiev, not to take Kiev. This is distortion of the fakes.🤣🤣🤣
@@KKSuited 40 mile convoys pale in comparison to thousands of field guns and launchers situated in the West. Their short diversion kept Ukrainian from reinforcing the South allowing capture of Mariupol and Kherson.
@@sys3248 That non moving 40 mile convoy was a decoy taking advantage of the (correct) assessment that Western hubris would judge that as Russian failure. That's exactly what happened.
Ukraine is losing the war. There are mass surrender and desertion. The most important thing is that Ukrainian professional army including elite Nazi units like Azov regiment suffered unsustainable losses and you can't do much with conscripts (most of them are really unwilling to fight for the regime). Just recently 32 Ukrainian soldiers were shot dead by Ukrainian Nazi unit while crossing the frontline trying to surrender. 800 surrendered near Severodonesk just yesterday. According to Guardian “…more than 20,000 casualties a month raises questions about what state Ukraine’s army will be in if the conflict drags on into the autumn. Ukraine is losing 2 to 3 brigade's a month at this rate. That's unsustainable.” Western supplies are a drop in the bucket taking into account the amount of already lost hardware. Without direct intervention of Polish or Romanian armies Ukrainian army will be done by the end of the year. 50+ billion in American weapons without even minimal oversight is mostly about corruption and kickbacks as usual. I suppose Ukraine is the second largest buyer of Hunter's art after China
I just don't know what USA was thinking how Ukraine could take on one of the best armed countries of the World. I mean, to think you can take on Russia who has the most artillery in the world and beat them in a proxy war is beyond intelligence. Russia has a very advanced army, satellites, radar, airforce. Russia also has like unlimited stockpiles of ammunition.
Don't you realise they watch Putin's broadcasting bots paid by nazi orcs wondering if they've ever read a paper much less the guardian it's for adults.
Putin never wanted Kyiv He wanted to keep the largest European army busy while his smaller ( 600,000 vs 200,00) force set up in the east . You don't send 40,000 Russian troops into Kyiv to overtake 60,00 Ukrainian troops.
So then you think that they did just a suicidal mission of the elite troops on hostaml airport? If they didn't think they would do it why would they send them there knowing they couldn't save them?
@@jimmyv8307 It was not 600000 Ukrainian troops it was 300000 after mobilization, Secondly you don't have to be a military strategist to understand that sending airborne division to a place where you know you will not be able to save them Is incredibly immoral, Once again I don't believe they did that purposefully because I don't believe it was a faint, I think that's cope but if you truly believe it was a faint then you will also have to concede that they condemned those soldiers to die
Donbass > Kharkov > Zaporizhzhia > Odesa > Kyiv if I had to guess. Going after Kyiv also means that negotiations are off the table and some form of surrender is the only way out.
The only mistake from the Russian side was not to flatten the city thus their failure to capture Kyiv. Now, they are no longer conceal from using their artillery, if there were be a 2nd attempt for Kyiv this time it will get bloody.
What Kiev did to the cities and people of Donbass Region will be reciprocated by the Russia in kind. Be afraid, Zelensky...be very afraid....the Day of Reckoning is near.
The Power of having the most Neuclear arsenal in the world that it surpassed & outnumbered to US........Russia have the courage & ability to operate Ukraine boldly without having any hesitation. If the Russia doesn't have the highest number of deadly neuclear arsenal,it wouldn't have the courage to invade Ukraine which is surrounded by allies countries.
Russia has no nukes, it is a big hoax, as the war in Ukraine has clearly demonstrated all russia has is old soviet era scrap metal, like T-62 and BMP-1. So US and UK can take out all russian major industrial and military centers without any consequences.
@ Pem Shimray the same thing you could say about Iraq and Afghanistan " if this two countries had many deadly nuclear weapons USA and NATO wouldn't have invaded them." Wether it's USA, NATO, Russia, China they are all same . They are the top predators on a food chain. They prey on the poor underdeveloped countries. I don't care if they destroy each other the world would be better without them.
"The leaders of the big European countries still believe that they can negotiate something with Putin without making a show of force, that they can talk to him, which Putin perceives as a position of weakness. This is a dramatic mistake !" Mikhail Khodorkovsky, interview on Euronews, 23 June 2022
I’m against any kind of wars be it from the West or Russia. This is one of the greatest Western mistakes in humans history which historian are going to talk about it in decades. You never underestimate a nuclear superpower or try to bully them.
@@AliAli-dh1xy The mistake is letting the bully get his way -- which the West has largely done so far. I am tired of Putler's constant threats against NATO. Let him attack if he has the balls for it, or else shut up.
@@starmnsixty1209 Calm down and don’t be emotional. NATO attack Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq without waiting for those countries to attack them. So the question here is. Why are the nato scared to involve directly by sending troops like they did in those countries mentioned instead they are involving indirectly??
They’re largely conscripts drafted in - often at gunpoint - from occupied Russian regions. They’re given shit weapons and sent to fight untrained. It’s a meat grinder. Putin cares as little for his fighters as he does for Ukrainians. He’s a madman and will suffer a mad psychopaths fate.
Antonio Alvir What is the cause for the invasion/war in Ukraine? Okay, It's a bit complicated. First, to simplify, let's see what aren't the causes. Denazification? This was one reason provided by Putin which most know to be false. Zelensky is Jewish and was elected in 2019 vs Poroshenko, next runner up. Nationalism and Nazism are not the same thing! The Nationalist party, one political party of many in Ukraine, and seen as right wing, only won about 2% of the vote. So this means there is no Nazi party ruling Ukraine either. Demilitarization. Putin stated this as a goal in the invasion. There are now more weapons in possession of the Ukrainian Armed Forces than any other time in history. Remove Ukraine as a threat to Russian security? Ukraine gained it's independence in 1991 and with it inherited 1/3 of the entire Soviet Nuclear Arsenal (missiles, bombers, etc). By 1994 an agreement had been reached between Russia and Ukraine, through UK and USA for Ukraine to destroy it's Nuclear missiles, and weapons in exchange for a guarantee of security. Ukraine was a threat to Russia before 1994, not after. This agreement was also broken by Putin. Putin claims he invaded to save the Russian speaking people of South Eastern Ukraine. He did the same thing about Crimea, but instead of giving it it's independence, he annexed it. Hitler used the same tactic in 1936 vs Czechoslovakia and the region of Sudetenland. As in Crimea, the Czechs appeased Hitler. They did not put up a fight but Later, Hitler still invaded the rest of the country. Putin invaded the heart of Ukraine, Crimea and the Donbas regions. To this day, any who can evacuate the region, run to the Ukrainians side, not the Russians if possible. He liberates nothing. He claims he supports independence for the separatists in Donbas. Most those "separatists" are actually infiltrated Russian soldiers incognito. This also happened in Crimea, where soldiers were seen without identification, and Putin denied this but 3 days later he actually admitted it since there was no resistance. The Azov are here fighting them, not killing Russo-Ukrainians. Why else would the evacuees run to the Ukrainian side instead of their "liberators"? Another reason people have stated is because of NATO expansion to the east. Well, funny that all this started in 2013 when Ukraine had Yanukovich as president, and the people wanted a free trade agreement with Europe. Yanukovich betrayed them, and sided with Russia, likely through bribery. That agreement would cost Putin and his Oligarchs billions. Yanukovich was ousted/impeached and he ran to Putin's Russia in early 2014. That same year is when Putin incited separatism, to destabilize the Democratic government of Ukraine and retake control after the event know as the Maidan Revolution. Also Russian separatists, backed with money and guns from Putin, as well as other Russian people who were given incentives to move to the Donbas area. They could keep their Russian citizenship when they moved into the area. Like squatters. A slow invasion. They started demanding things they had no right to. Then Putin couldn’t wait anymore. His health is fading. Covid has made him paranoid and anxious, to do somethingto give him the glory he needs before his death. That's should be enough to refute the reasons Putin said he invaded. Truth is Putin has lied, cheated and stolen, not only sovereign territories, but embezzled billions from Russia along with his oligarchs. An investigator researching these allegations was assassinated but not before he alerted others. This is as much a cover up for his wrongdoings, fulfill his expansionist agenda, and the profiteering of his oligarchs which sustain him in power. Ukraine is the sacrificial lamb, that kicked Putin’s dog Yanukovich, out for democracy. I may have missed a few details, but this is pretty much it. Nothing to do with NATO or the US. Yes with free trade and the EU. A sovereign country has the right to do business with whom they please. Putin would lose a major market, losing Ukraines business to Europe, and Ukrainian control to its own established democracy. Putin’s top intelligence people lied to him , pocketed the money they said would fund the pro Russian movement inside Ukraine. When Putin invaded he believed that Ukrainian people needed saving from brainwashing, by USA, to have western democratic values. He was not greeted with flowers. There was no welcome party. Putin fired and sent those intelligence officers to the gulag. Lost many Russian soldiers. One day he may be asked where they have all gone. Meanwhile he used the full power of propaganda. In the Ria Novostra they published a paper sent to the Russian people about the new definition of Nazi as it referred to the Ukrainian people. It said that “ you have had 30 years and now it’s time to pay for your “western values “”. This is a new genocide where if you are not Russian, you are a Nazi too! There is another article in the Ria Novostra about that as well. They believe that if you have been able to have freedom, you were lucky, and must go to work rebuilding the Russian territory in hard labour. This will help to rebuild your understanding of how gracious Russia is to continue to let you live. Those that do not want to be rehabilitated are unsalvageable, and must be liquidated. I don’t want to live in Putin’s regime. What is your understanding/ definition of Nazi? Apparently there are two different views. In German thinking of the past, it meant to them that they viewed the Jewish people in such a low regard, that they were less than others. ( not true☺️) I am not going to dig into that atrocity. To others it means that they hold their country in such high regard, and it’s democratic western values, which must be a form of brainwashing by the west, because ordinary people cannot make important decisions. And must be made to pay for swaying away from Mother Russia. So, this war is not really about the west . Putin just wants people to be fighting over this, and distracted, while they kill as many Ukrainian people as possible. He is a jealous angry old man, facing the end of his life, looking for a grand finale. I will also add that there is some question about Frump and Putin’s relationship. If you would like, you may copy the statement above to your notes. Feel free to share it to spread sunflower seeds of truth to all the concerned. This is how I fight.🇨🇦❤️🇺🇦 Thank you for reading Slava Ukraini 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇦
It’s a mistake to try to take the Ukrainian capital with the same tactic as before. The same war plan as Donbas should be considered if there is a second attempt. But this will mean more lives lost for Ukraine and Russia which makes me dislike war even more. They have to call for peace even in the face of territorial Concessions
Your Mama raised a boy with no spine. Freedom is alway worth fighting for. No sane person loves war but if my freedom is threatened I’ll fight and kill to the death while you hide under the table
Going after other Soviet republics cozying you to the EU and NATO is already in his plans. Splitting Ukraine in half and making it land lock is the minimum. Taking Moldova and Georgia comes after. There has to be room for diplomacy like an agreement not to allow those nations into the EU or NATO. While allowing Russia to keep the territory they currently have and guaranteeing not to shut off the potable water in Crimea coming from Ukraine.

Russian analysis was that Kiev would be captured in three days. Russian analysis after repositioning troops to Donbas, was that Donbas would be completely concurred in a week. Are Ukrainian soldiers surrendering in large numbers. If they were, Russia would be showing them to the world. How is it, that when the Ukrainian troops there surrendered. The number of surrendering troops tripled. But, they didn't show triple the number of surrendering Ukrainians. It's truly amazing how the Russians can make little successes into a mountainous victory. I wonder if Putin will be like Hannibal. Defeated the Roman's multiple times. Even had slaves, Syrians, and Gladiators, Belarusians join him. But lost, because gladiators and slaves turned against him, and he could never concur Rome.
