Today most electronic radio enthusiasts own a digital multimeter. Nevertheless, there are special applications where an analog multimeter is preferable. Aligning the receiver on an amateur transceiver and aligning an old 1950's AM, FM, SW radio are two of those special applications. In this video, besides describing a simple repair to the Micronta 22-208, I demonstrate how I use my Micronta and Simpson 260. There is something magical about watching a big needle move as opposed to numbers jumping around on a digital meter.
