He was the uncle and longtime rival to Ra-Horakhty( A merger of Ra and Horus), murdered RH's father Osiris, vied for control of Egypt, and often acted as a villain. Basically think Scar from the Lion King. However he _also_ accompanied Ra-Horakhty on his nightly journeys. In fact, it was his job to help fight Apep and keep The Sun safe. Even though Set was crazy and mean, he was also crazy strong and he didn't want to see the world end anymore then anyone else. A dark protector. Considering Vera's connection to Dogs, Protection, Storms, Violence, and Ethical Question ability, I wouldn't be surprised if there's some Set Syncretism. Especially if one equates the Commandant to Ra, the unambiguously good and just light of mankind. But even if not, It's a neat story and Set is a cool if often overlooked god IMO. Just... don't ask him about cabbage.

Bought it literally once the update installed. Gonna buy the Dragon outfit for her next. Also whenever Alpha CW comes out with her own Dragon outfit, will buy that too.
I've never thought of vera as mean tbh, for some reason I could never help but to like her character. Even to this day, The Last Spark is still my favorite PGR patch, and probably one of the best story lines I've ever played through in gaming as a whole... I also really like this skin, but since I have no money, I'm aiming for her future coating instead - that said, I'd love to see Mesopotamian coatings in the future. I'm a huge Ereshkigal simp lol
this skin is worth it for Vera. It makes her so beautiful!!! Even though Lucia Crimson Weave is now the top Lightning attacker, i still use Vera to see her in action
As someone that also have Ayla as the Favourite One, I can completely understand and support the love for Vera!!! She really go beyond her base archetype.

I think I will wait for the gatcha coating, as that's the same patch she will get her leap and actually see some time on the field instead of 99% Alpha (and soon 21).
Garnet and CW are the best duo in the entire game. They even have a team synergy move. When Alpha jumps high in the sky during her core strike you can swap in Vera and she ll do her thunderfall. It looks sooooo satisfying, Check it out!
the only sad thing is for those who have alpha crimson weave (which tbh prolly everyone does or will in time) completely takes away veras field time so we will almost never see this magnificent frame in action T_T

Kinda new to pgr here, never really bother with coatings because it's cosmetics only. For these kinds of coatings (the RC ones) is there a f2p way to get these or did you strictly have to buy them with RC (therefore real money)?
RC-only coatings can only be bought with real money unfortunately, but there are loads of coatings that can be earned without spending a cent too! In particular, that green dragon one for Vera in this video will be a gacha coating you can guarantee for 10,000 Black Cards.
I am set on the Chines warlord skin for Vera so I amma skip this one, it helps that I got absolutly shit on while getting Biancas skin and backgroung. Speaking of back I just recently realised how much backs Liv Empyrea shows with that golden string, spicy stuff
You almost, almost sold me on this skin. Unfortunately, the total loss of thunderous bass on her core and signature moves is still too much of a deal breaker for me. Those sound effects are a good half of the reason I started playing this game. 😢
