But JVC has a long history that goes back to the start of the 20th century, and it doesn’t begin in Japan, but New Jersey. What’s with the “Victor” name in the Japan Victor Company, how did a Japanese company with American roots fair during the Second World War, and why haven’t we seen much innovation from them lately?
