I'm sceptical. He's untested in the major leagues. Looks like a risky investment. But on the other hand, high risk, high reward. If we do sign him (unlikely), I hope he proves me wrong.

Arsenal really really really needs to sign this guy. He'll be a great addition to the team, the missing piece of the puzzle to finally win the league, and maybe challenge for ucl as well

We know there are a lot of factors involved in making decisions but let Arsenal consider signing Viktor Gyokeres for fans interest sake, winning the league and not frustrating fans.
Hard to imagine this guy coming in at that price and sitting on the bench behind Kai or Kai sitting on the bench - maybe Kai moves back to left 8 again now that side is more stable and Merino becomes a solid squad option to play between 6 and 8 although I don't see Rice at 6? Alvarez was bought at 14m from Argentina league now want to pay 70 to city this is not fair to Arsenal from the business part of it.if this happens then there will be no need of complaining about oil money coz City means business when it comes to selling players.

It's such a risk to take on someone like Gyokeres. One 40-goal season in the portuguese PL, and no premier league experience. Wouldn't pay more than 60 mil and I don't think it's gonna happen. If Sporting cash-in on him this season on a low-ball offer after his insane first season, I'd be worried that they know something we don't. If he has another 25+ goal season, they'll get way more than what he's worth right now, and they'll at lease get their 60 million. Why would they sell now unless they need the money?
I feel because we already know he has the ability to get 40+ goals Arteta can potentially unlock his potential if ever it gets different for him in Premier league
Unlock with what haha,not like his Romario so there is something else he can only go down from 40 it would be miracle if he scores 15+ in premier league first season,when Haaland score 50+ and after then scored double less and it's world class striker this guy has no chance to get 25+ goals
@@mbatshintopo1412 I suppose it's possible, but this guy is 26. I think the key with Arteta's side is that the players can all learn fast. So if Gyokeres can learn new things quickly, he'd probably do well.

Lol, how is that guy who's a bencher for City worth 70M? EPL market values are the biggest scam in European football, I swear almost no player has been worth the price tag since Cristiano signed for RM.
