Stephen there's a brilliant 4 part series on RU-vid about the first emperors I'd highly recommend. The first episode is called "Order from Chaos" and is narrated by Sigouney Weaver, its a brilliant four parter starting with Augustus and ending with Nero. The profile picture is a marble frieze, very easy to find.
