@@amjidali588 Not only Stefan Ortega made a lot of important saves. Ederson also played pretty good in the first half and in the second till he subbed off.
@@tonyjeffers2606Usually as a footballer, you want to play on no matter the pain. I tried it with a small tear in my ACL, ended up ruining my knee for life. Sometimes adrenaline just keeps you from feeling anything.
@@yarniewullaert2025thank you bro for making me realize I have tore my right wrist ligament and I have my league from Thursday so I was thinking should I play or not but I won't play now
@@ronin9296 If you get tackled going full speed you get adrenaline. The physio pushed my shin wide from my knee and warned me of a small tear, i tried to resume anyway and not 3 minutes later i try to slow down coming from a sprint and my knee just snapped over my shin. Never been able to play competitive football since. This was 8 years ago.
It looks much worse than what they’re saying. I genuinely think Ederson got a concussion and really needed to be taken off asap. That also explains why he was angry when taken off because when you get a more severe concussion, you become disoriented and sometimes forget what happened to you just a few minutes ago, making you think you’re fine when you aren’t in reality.
people forgetting as players you can be out cold for minutes then get up and feel fine and want to continue playing (it's very common to see as these players are trained on quick recovery during matches)
They can’t make that judgement themselves though. You might feel fine, but you won’t be 100%. It’s a risk, but ofc he’s going to want to stay on the pitch
It's actually so true i broke my finger of my foot and i just played football at that time later i opened my shoe and my sock was full of blood and my nail was broken later in x-ray i found that i had cracked the finger as well, but in that heat I didn't feel anything and i just played the game.
slightly different to being out coke an concussed don’t you think 😅 have you ever had a broken eye eye socket ?? Don’t think you’d of played through that !!
Yep, I tore meniscus playing basketball and i felt a pop which i ignored, only to wake up the next day with immense pain and inability to move my leg. The adrenaline during the match makes you ignore the pain
He was angry because he was originally allowed to stay on but got subbed off about 5 minutes after the injury if he was subbed off straight away he probably wouldn't be angry
Pep knows better and even although city players may get emotional when substituted or left out , there is 100% respect in that whole team to the manager ❤thats why there winners no matter what ❤
I was glad that Romero when clashed with ederson didn't started playing on but was stopping the game and calling everyone whereas some don't do that and play on
Players having these kinds of behaviors I hate it. Salah with Klopp, De Bruyne now Ederson with Pep. No matter what they should show respect and once in the dressing room they can express themselves
You don't understand the jittery adrenaline feeling you get when you think you can win the match and get subbed off. If you are happy being subbed off, be happy at the subs for the whole season. It's usually the players who are mad getting subbed off, who make sure to play good enough for the full 90 next match. It shows fighting spirit, it's a good thing. Even Pep said this himself. He doesn't want anyone to be happy being subbed off.
I understood every part of this. I totally understand why pep took him off and also why ederson is angry at the time. But guarantee ederson has thanked him now. Next training session would have been sprint sessions with the medical staff who should of got there as soon as the contact was made
