I am going to play a devils advocate and address what has been left out. Mental health played a huge Role in Anna's behavior. Cruelty towards animals is among the first indicators of pyschopathic disorder. The report failed to address how her childhood was, any childhood traumas she endured, her fathers role in her life. Her truancy behavior depicts someone with antisocial disorder meaning she lacks respect for rules or laws. Most mental issues are diagnosed at 20yrs as it hard to give a diagnosis for young children and she seems to be at that age. A good psychiatrist will most likely diagnose her with more than one mental issue. I am not justfying her actions at all but am saying mental issues need to be seriously looked into from an early age as early interventions can prevent more harm in future.

Anne's mother is looking very overwhelmed with her daughter and her own life. As a mother i can feel her pain to see how her child turned out. Which is not any mother's wish to see her child get wasted and lost into crime.

I feel sorry for her mother. I hope she finds peace and a better life. For Anne it seems she chose her path from birth, for her only God can change her.
I don't mean to sympathize with Anne because it's elaborate she's a criminal and a danger. I pity those jailed together with her. I'm however not keen on condemning her. I feel this child suffered from undiagnosed mental illness. All the clues were there, but it’s unfortunate that Kenyan teachers are not trained to identify the symptoms of mental illness.

Poverty is bad, in fact, the worst. The mother probably gave birth at home (due to lack of funds to give birth in hospital), and she did not bother to take the child to the hospital afterwards to at least get a notification, which would have indicated her day of birth. However, if she was immunized, the records can probably provide the closest birth dates. Such a sad story and outcome

Oh my God what a tragedy! Please our young men we don't want to keep loosing you in unexplainable ways. If you are of age it's better to marry and work for your family than depending on one night stands which come with high prices to pay. Yes when you die it's over for you in such ways but what about your family,, I mean mother, father siblings and friends. It's better to fight hard to make ends meet with your family than avoiding marriage because of responsibility and we lose you in such ways. May God forgive him his shortcomings and bring the murderer to justice.

Judging from the stories from her childhood, it is clear that she was a psychopath. Not only was she displaying criminal behaviour at a young age, but she was also extremely violent against animals. These are classic signs of ASPD or psychopathy

Nobody can guess the truth about these case unless we see the day's full cctv footage of Maigo entering his house or rather the compound.We need to see who alighted from the vihecle and wheather he had other visitors who accessed the house on that day.
Have you even thought that maybe this lady was a scapegoat? I mean maybe it's not Maigo who picked her, maybe Maigo was already dead, then another person personalized Maigo and picked up the lady as a scapegoat. For me I keep asking, what if someone else was hiding in the house when they arrived & she did stab him 3times as she said when she took off but someone had to make sure he died of whatever reason that might exist.

Also Maybe Eric did try to take advantage of her. Which is sad if he did. Only the two(or more) know what happened and one of them isn't here to tell us.

Animal cruelty is a tell-tale sign of psychopathic tendencies. The man had been drinking since the previous evening to wee hours of the following morning. It is very easy to overpower a drunk man. The guy had been on the hunt for a "paid lady of the night" all evening. She probably lured him as one but with the plan of probably robbing him when things went wrong. It doesn't take a genius to see that this woman (come on guys, you can see she's not a teenager) had a trouble and truant childhood. She's a hardened criminal. She's dangerous and, unfortunately, Maigo paid for it with his life. She doesn't belong in jail. She belongs in the isolation ward of a mental institution.

Yes ma’am. There is a 12 year old who killed a person. People petitioned for him saying it’s just a child. So instead of jail, he was placed in children’s home. Let me tell you maina, he is now hardcore criminal. Ran away from the home, stole a car at 16, raped a woman, robbed at gun point, assault of a neighbor and wife, killed a random person. He is 22 now and jail where he belongs. Yes, children can kill too. Let’s accept and ponder how to mould our kids while Providing mental support.
Cruelty towards animals is one sign of mental problems, most serial killers background shows that they have been cruel to animals, i wish we could look more into behavioural change in our kids
I tell we really lack awareness of mental health issues and she is mot even the first young person in Kenya sadly it keeps happpening over and over as society continues to turn a blind eye to the real monster "mental illness". I ain't justifying what happened as no one has a right to end another's life but ilI wish more can be done as far as mental health issues are concerened.
High chances this chap was trailed to that place he is drinking solo, and the ladies he's speaking to are hired assassins. They could also have been in cohoots with those he's seen driving off with. This lady Ann is not telling the truth 25 or 35 stab wounds from only one lady? Having a man who is tall, who can grab this lady by the hand or so? Anna Adhiambo started to show some cruelty behaviours in her teenage age but her family and the society give it a blind eye. If the family would have not given a bland eyes 😢 assumes that Anna will changed on her mischievous kind of behaviours from the time they started noticing her changed behaviours and acted quickly by taking her to rehab then such premature death like of Eric Maigo would have been avoided. And now its upon the family and society to take a keen look on everyone within who may have such behaviour traits as Anna Adhiambo by taking a first step of seeing the affected individual gets a much needed help before he or she causes a distraction.
She might be trying to steal from the deceased and the deceased was trying to stop her leading to the stabbings or the guy since we saw from those footage liked ladies lured her with chips and kuku and because she seems to weak he took the advantage to take her in his home to do the unthinkable throughout the night,,,,upon reaching home the day refused and they started the argument and ofcos he might have attempted to rape her and in self defense she stabbed him,,,after the first stab the deceased didn't give up and tried it again leading the lady to stab him countless times ,,,that my opinion though,,,,and who mets a stranger offer them what they have,the stranger refuses and demands for something else and without thinking you fall in to their demands? And which kfc sells cold foodstuffs? And why take a stranger in your house in the name of warming the food?
Don’t think she acted alone, this crime is sophisticated for the some execution . She fitted the profile due to the background. Possibly a deal gone sour is what took the young man out , maybe he was a gatekeeper to a deal . May he rest in peace
I choose not to judge, am never good at that, God will hve alot of judgement cases on the Last Day. Only Him knows whose guilty and innocent. Anna could be a silent sacrificial lamb from others who were after alot
My assumptions are that it’s very viable the mentioned lady did it based on her background and upbringing,if you’ve watched serial killers documentary it’s not rocket science to know that such scenario can happen….remember the boy who killed his family and we were left wondering how he managed it …well.
One thing is for sure. Ann closed her mother's house door from the outside showing she had gone to wander the streets and make some quick money then return before they woke up and pretend to be asleep. It shows she had no motive to kill leave alone stab 23 times. Ask yourself, had the guy not stopped his car, would he have met Ann? You know the answer to that. As such, this wasn't premeditated. My thought exactly is that Ann went into defense mode after the guy wanted to smash or do atrocious stuff to her in his house and anyone including you and me would definitely defend themselves in such a case. But my theory is, there was someone else inside that house waiting for the guy to come in and pounce on him only for the man to come with Ann and this made it difficult for the assailant already in the house. So when the guy attacked Ann and possibly wanted to sexually assault her, she defended herself after the fight broke and since the guy was helpless and Ann blacked out of it, the assailant made sure to finish the job and make it look like Ann had done the 20-something stabs. I think the assailant in the house must've been either one of those Maigo met that day or was sent by one of those he met that day, but Ann provided the perfect situation to be pinned that murder on. Evidently, Maigo's behaviours show that many women had scores to settle with him and this can truly be a crime of passion and him crossing paths with Ann was supposed to save him from the assailant who lurked in the house before they got there, but his lust and atrocity turned any help he would have received that day upside down. TRAGIC this is.
the coincidence you are creating there does not add up at all. we expect at some point to know that Ann was part of the plot together with the assailant. Let us wait

@@godslove1847 I guess the assassin must've used the front door and walked normally inside it as would be tenants and house occupants. Given the guy's habits of taking ladies to her place and having many clandestine persons it would be very easy to access his key and duplicate it, right? Women are cunning and it wouldn't be a hard task for them to get a copy of the key which might have been used by the assassin to get access to the premises and lurk in the darkness waiting. I believe Ann was to save the guy had the assailant attacked both of them and they would have overpowered him/her mostly him. But mboro ni kitu gani surely iliona ichape kitu ilale and that's where the odds changed against the guy and while the fight ensued, the assassin waited for an opportune moment to give the fatal and final stabbings. It is likely while Maigo was suffering and in pain after Ann's three stabs and most likely Ann went inside a room or a toilet and locked herself inside, the assassin pounced on Maigo and neutralized him. Had Ann been responsible for the murder, all her clothes would have been filled with blood.
@@godslove1847 most likely the assassin used the front gate and since the guy is used to taking ladies and people home, no wonder there's no wife or permanent woman there or even a stay-in help, most likely the perp had the keys. Entering even in gated and secured areas is easy you just talk to the gateman and if its someone who always came there gatemen let that person in since s/he isn't a stranger. And that's why such murders are never coincidental as of the Ann's case, the one's who wanted to silence the guy or had a score that needed to be settled must be people who knew him very very well. And he might most likely have been warned already given his suspicion even checking his drink and changing the glass. So he knew his time is up or he had been warned and that just doesnt happen coincidentally, it happens when you know you've messed up the wrong type of guys and they will come to collect anytime anyday.
