They are individual works of art , they become more like a friend as time goes by , and they elevate an outfit above and beyond !!! It's that feel , the smell , the sitting on a table looking ohhhh so pretty 😍 , it's the admiring glances , the conversations , and that wonderful sound of a smooth quality zip , and producing our lives from hidden compartments ! Above all , above everything else , it's a little piece of pure pleasure ❤️ And if we fret about the cost , what about the price of a new TV , the latest iPhone , a weekend away . The difference is ,..these babies are for keeps !!! XXX
I have been a handbag lover since I was a single digit, and I have no idea why it started but when you watch little girls playing with their bags and plastic makeup/hair ribbon, you see them fill the bag with their things, and then unpack it, and refill it, unpack and repeat ♻️ I think it probably has to do with seeing the grown up’s carrying around a bag with their purse/keys/makeup in it, and wanting to be like them. Luxury bags make people feel special, and maybe more unique amongst their peers 💼
Thank you for this interesting video! I had to jump on it immediately because I often wonder why... And you mentioned very good reasons. To me it is mostly that a bag always fits. And I am also very tactile, some bags to me are like favourite toys and I love to touch them and carry them around all day. And a bag is always something to hold on to or rely on when I feel insecure or unhappy. So I am so very obsessed with my bags, I pack a different bag every morning even if I don´t leave the house and sometimes change bags twice a day, depending on where I am going and on the mood I am in. Is that obsession or already addicition ??? 😅 No matter what, bags just make me happy 😍
I hear you sister, I thought I was the only weird one changing my bags everyday. The different colours and styles uplift my mood and make me instantly happy even on days when I’m otherwise miserable and I have no regrets or shame in being a handbag addict 😂

Yes the bags for me make sense because they are not dependent on what you weigh. Up on your weight…down on your weight…it does not matter. I do enjoy a few ready to wear pieces and it is always a concern about long term viability as the weight does fluctuate so I usually by items that fit or just a smidge looser in case I gain lol!

I like bags exactly for your first reason. My weight goes up and down. Would be heart broken if I spent thousands on ready to wear and it didnt fit any more. Bodyshapes naturally change overtime. A bag may not always be on trend but it’ll always fit and have a purpose. Those high wasted jeans look good on you. Dont forget a belt. Draws the eye in and works wonders 😊
Luxury makes ppl feel superior in a way, special and maybe more successful in life. Of course, it's personal and there are ppl who don't like to display wealth and prefer to spend on other aspects like fine cuisine, travel, cars, watches, even spending on kids etc. There's always a weakness in an area ppl spend on.
I’m sure I was born with a handbag affection! My husband laughs because my family albums shows many photos of me as a toddler, holding my bags just as I do now 😂
Beautiful outfits! I’m on a capsule wardrobe kick too. To try and get more cost per wear out of nice quality clothing. And to take a bit of guess work out of everyday dressing. And that black Kelly! Perfect for the outfit and perfect size for your height etc. ❤

You are not morbidly obese. As long as you are healthy and wear clothing the suits you, you should be ok. Just take care of yourself. I love bags too because when I was 300 lbs, the bags still fit.

Deb could you please remove that big lamp in the back? I watch RU-vid videos on my television and that lamp is sooo bright it hurts my eyes. When I see a new video and that lamp I don’t watch them, just because the awful bright lamp. Thank you in advance 🙏🏻
Oh no. I bought it especially to add light to my background. I’m sorry if it is too bright. I will turn it down to a softer light - hopefully that will help x if it still looks bright I will turn it fully off. X
Thank you for your comment. I don’t think they are low quality clothes. They are not from a luxury house but as I’ve said I rarely buy ready to wear from any of the luxury houses as I prefer to put my money into bags. They are really lovely quality otherwise I would have accepted the collab.
