Some in depth video about the lighting set-up and to light a character would be awesome and helpfull to alot! Most of the people do it wrong and create hot spots and it is not a smooth and diffuse lighting space. Great video
Hey Mike, thanks for checking out the video. Mud and tape was key but now we've noticed the joint has cracked and even a fresh coat of paint doesn't cover the crack. Thankfully we've done tests and the cracks don't show at all so no worries there. Just make sure you light it correctly. 👌👌 We'd love to see what you're building, best of luck with it.
Sorry for the late reply, we spent approx. 800 on materials and this included the wood and paint. Paint was about 5 gallons between primer and final coats.
We use the 5 Gallon Behr Flat White. I know they sell cyclorama specific paint but the Behr gets the job done and is cost effective since we repaint a lot.
