As a person who went from playing countless story games as a kid to barely being able to finish a single story game per year as an adult this definitely helped me remind myself to go back to my roots.
I’m glad to hear man! I feel the exact same way. I use to love story games like Zelda and stuff, but as I got older they are harder to play. Definitely still worth devoting time to though! What were some of your favorites as a kid?
@@Sweht kingdom Hearts is a big one for me, but up until a few years ago I haven’t even played any of the Final Fantasy games aside from 7 so I’ve been going back and playing them.
My problem with modern story games is that they feel more like movies with tiny gameplay segments rather than games with good stories. You spend most of the game walking from point A to point B, talk to am npc/watch a cutscene, then walk from point B to point C. The last actual game with a story that blew me away was War of the Lions and that was forever ago
@@goodtimesgivecancer1 There are a ton of exceptions to this rule though if you look at more than just AAA mainstream titles. Tons of games have excellent stories. Baldur's Gate 3 is the most recent example of this but I am blown away by game's stories all the time. You just gotta keep an open mind and play a lot of games while avoiding all the AAA shovelware that companies like Blizzard and Ubisoft release.
Barely (if any) modern game with a story that's captivating enough at an old age. They're all trying to be non controversial and soft around the edges and worst, as inclusive as possible
I think that comfort point makes the most sense. Why do something different when what I know I already enjoy is right there? My main 2 games I’ll return to are Warframe and Rocket League. Every once in a while I can find something else to sink my teeth into for a couple hundred hours, or more, but I’ll always return to those 2 for more.
I think the biggest reason why I can't play most single player games anymore is that thanks to RU-vid and Let's Plays, I don't need to play a game to experience its story, and once I know its story, I don't feel like playing it for myself because I already experienced the story. That's why I'm staying blind on Baldur's Gate 3 until it releases on Xbox, because that's my only console as of right now.
That’s pretty wise not to spoil it for yourself. I’ve done that too for Zelda TOTK. It’s more rewarding to do it yourself, but once you already know how to beat the game and all the story points, there’s no reason to play
one big point is that games are way more fun with friends, so it doesnt really matter what you are playing as long as it is with your friends generally that guarantees a good time
agree you know minigames supposed to be a side activity inside the game that can become dull quickly ? well, somehow me and my friend speding hours fishing in coop FarCry5, we even flying the plane to highest hidden lake just to fishing and hoping we catch rare fish 😅
another thing to consider is that multiplayer games being inherently more repayable makes them a more efficient purchase, if I only have $70 to spend on a new game, it would be a better purchase to buy the newest COD then to buy the newest God of war, I will get more out of COD when looking at money spent to time played, this makes multiplayer games more of a safe purchase, I felt this recently with the RE4 remake, heard it was good but I personally didn't really like it, thats a $60 purchase I wont be getting back, with multiplayer games they stay unique just long enough to where even if I don't end up liking the game, I can find fun out of it messing around with my friends, if I dont like a multiplayer game, I know I can make fun out of it with friends, if I don't like a singleplayer game, I have to just deal with my now regretful purchase this isn't to say I only play multiplayer games, breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom are 2 of my favorite games of all time, and I have been enjoying starfield so far
with over 2.5k+ games on steam, epic, battlenet etc. singleplayer games dont really appeal to me anymore even though i would still buy them thinking one day i might play them. as im so used to playing games with friends, playing singleplayee games would make me feel like something is missing
i have this list of singleplayer games i wanted to get through this year and only cleared like 2 or 3 of them and just kept playing tekken instead the whole time. hardly even played the other fighters i got this year. guess i should finally finish some of those games i started a year or two ago
I keep buying new games but never playing them. I also keep switching between games, but never fully committing to one. It just feels overwhelming the amount of options there are. By committing to one game, it's hard to not feel like you're missing out on all those other games.
i think the problem is time and peace , single player cinematic experiences are super good , but to enjoy it to the fullest you need to binge on them and have a great audio and visual experience , with a dark room and no noise and kids
you don't need them, you want them. I'm in college, sharing my apartment with 2 friends and I'm telling you, there's no peaceful moment here, but that ain't stopping me from playing what I like.
You should play story mode first, you wont go back when you have started to play online. And it gives you some safe way of basic training for what to come.
this was my mistake with GTA V. i got it bcs my friend wanted to do online, a couple of other friends joined and now it's hard for me to try and play the campaign because I want to do all of the online shenanigans.
Wow, this is truly a masterpiece. I've watched several of your recent videos, and they've been absolutely amazing. Please continue producing such fantastic content! Additionally, I'd like to mention that I stick to playing the same games because my computer can't handle any other games. Believe me, if I had the capability to run different games, I would be exploring a wide variety of them. Anyway, please keep up the excellent work! God bless you.
Dude I really appreciate that! I'm so thankful for your support and words. Here's to hoping your computer can run more variety at some point! You deserve it lol.
I'm not sure that single player games have higher requirements than multiplayer games. One reason that I don't want to play multiplayer games is that they require a huge amount of hours for you to to be competitive. It's not fun to always lose or be on the bottom of the score board so you need to play a lot to be successful. In single player games on the other hand you don't have to be bleeding edge to enjoy the story and the gameplay. You can even cheat or get help if you just want to progress the story.
On the topic of repayability one thing no one ever talks about is how different replayability is between MP and SP. Replayability in SP is often seen as a tangible aspect like new game plus or side quest and critics of SP will cite that as to SPs superiority but what a lot of people overlook, including pro MP people, is the human element of MP not found in SP. I remember having a conversation with someone on discord who hates MP because theres no replayability, its just the same experience over and over according to him where as with fallout 4(his prefered game) he said he could run so many different characters and playthroughs. I made the point that replayability is subjective much like how genre is subjective and that a big part of replayability for MP is experience. For example my prefered game is R6 Siege, and the whole reason i love playing it is because even after years of playing and being in the higher skill brackets i am STILL learning new things. New angles to watch something, New ways to approach a situation, new ways to outsmart peopl, and even new ways to counter these new idea im learning if when someone uses them against me. This constant unending potential for new knowledge is a form of replayability. Another somewhat related aspect is people dont keep playing the same way forever. At a certain point all the best players can play at a similar and eventually someone somewhere is going to get creative and find a new solution that eventually all the best players will copy and adapt to and it will eventually trickle down the skill ladder creating what we as gamers call "metas". This constant evolution drivin by competition leaves so much room for untapped potential and is a form of replayability.
Ok but there's also games in the middle. There are plenty of titles, primarily or exclusively in single-player, which do not ask much of you in the beginning and are not some huge emotional investment major plotline to follow etc, while having tons of replayability and rewarding time spent from the player. Think of Tetris, Binding of Isaac, Terraria, Slay the Spire, Candy Crush, Stardew Valley, you get the idea. Some of these titles are absolutely massive in terms of popularity, and can get pretty notorious for having some of the playerbase clocking in insane hours spent similar to online multiplayer titles like League and CSGO. I don't even wanna imagine what those soccer moms who only play candy crush got for their hours played Putting life/time concerns aside, I think having one of such titles in your repretoire makes for a much healthier/well-rounded game rotation
Those are some valid points. Not every game is an emotional attachments. I remember one of my family members was mad addicted to angry birds and candy crush to the point they dreamed about it lol. Kills me to think about
A lot of multiplayer games have consistent, endless gameplay loops with a progression system, making it easy to hop online and do the same thing over and over but have it still be satisfying. That’s very different from a narrative-driven single player experience.
Just stop playing live service games it's that easy anything that boasts end game ignore. Suddenly gaming addiction dissapears and you go do something else at a normal time
Great video! Hearing somebody else reaffirm my thoughts in a concise and clear way made me feel great about quitting League of Legends lmfao... in all seriousness, this is a great video, and I've started playing more indie games like Hollow Knight and Celeste. I still sometimes go back to league, but it's never really for more than a handful of games. I've started liking story games a lot more
😂😂 Dude same here. The more competitive games are still fun, especially when you have people to play with- but those more intimate single player games are definitely worth it if you give them time
No need for a video to make you feel great about quitting league. It's a way of spending time in a game, which can sometimes feel like work, and half the time is extremely tilting to the point of making the rest of your day actively worse, with a constant cycle of skins skins skins patches while the client continually and integrity/stability of the game rots away.
I am still playing league, it can be fun even in ranked but the only way to enjoy ranked is to not worry as much about losing, which there is no reason to worry about it in the first place
I mean simply, it’s conditioning. The more you play something, the more it feels natural. That’s why it’s very hard to make a new, competitive game, that people will try.
im in the middle of this like i really enjoy playing some ds3 and baldurs gate 3 but on the other hand i really love playing with my friends in cs2 and im really glad i can find some good balance to both single player games and competitive ones
me too, but it's always, ALWAYS the older ones. I just bought Hogwarts Legacy and Baldur's Gate 3 last week but i keep switching back to The Witcher 3 and State of Decay 2 even though i beat these games like 3 or 4 times...like, i am simply not able to invest my time in new games anymore, i don't know what's happening because i really want to enjoy HL and BG3 but i simply can't
As you get older you start to see how a lot of these games don't respect the players time. Purposely drawn out actions, separated shops, bad inventory management to bloat perceived content of a game and completion time. The writing and dialogue is really bad too in 99% of games. Being older I still love games, but definitely appreciate a game that is more engaging, dynamic, and respects your time. Doom Eternal is a good example, while Counter Strike is a multiplayer example. You jump right in, lots of tactics, options, games never play the same. Doom respects the player and explains mechanics and enemies in a straight forward way so you know what you're stepping into instead of wasting time and effort dying over and over to learn the patterns. For multi, playing with real people is always going to be more interesting than bots until AI gets way better (or devs actually put effort into AI like they did with FEAR). Poor onboarding and obfuscated game mechanics are really annoying too. Having to go on youtube to learn mechanics or hidden things is a huge issue. Games do such an awful awful job at teaching the player, transparency with game mechanics, and onboarding as a whole. It can be an effort to get into a new game proper and a lot of the time I just don't think its worth it.
it's curious, I have the opposite happen to me, my comfort games tend to be single-player because I get stressed when dealing with people multi-player, plus a massive skill issue on my part ngl
There is a ton of comfort at just enjoying a game at your own pace. It’s hard when you feel like you have to be at a crazy skill level to maybe enjoy a competitive game. Hopefully you could maybe find one you can enjoy at some point!
Outer Wilds is a singleplayer game everyone should play. Its a unique experience and for the love of god, dont look up any guides or anything that could contain spoilers.
HA! I don't have this problem, after i feel like I've finished a game its really hard to go play it again, but i obviously don't play online games as i see them as lesser, still fun, but when playing story games you get fun AND the story/experience
I was a hardcore online MP gamer back when I was a teen in the 360/PS3 era, the golden age of online gaming imo. I played nothing but Gears of War, Halo, and CoD, 24/7. Only occasionally played SP games but now as an adult I've done a complete switch, I mostly play SP games. I'll occasionally play online MP but not for too long. To me, SP games just give me a better gaming experience, online can be fun if you're a competitive person or have people to play with but nothing beats a captivating story and exciting gameplay of a SP game.
I’ve always bought games but never committed to just focusing on one. I stopped buying new SP games since…. I guess since Ghost of Tsushima. I’ll buy any SP games on discount. I made it a rule for myself to never buy games for $70 especially Persona 3 Reload which I was excited for cuz I loved P3Fes but had enough of Altus BS. Plus they’ll more than likely release a new edition like they did with the other Persona titles like Persona 4 and Persona 5. Plus seeing how these new $70 releases are often disappointing and makes me question, “Yeah games like Armored Core 6 have more worth and its $60. Not only that, a PS5 Upgrade for FREE!? Are these games really worth $70?”. Nahh. I used to be a trophy hunter. Sometime down the road or for a long time, it felt like a chore, sucking away my enjoyment for the game and also wasting time. Sure sure, replayability but for me it felt like a chore doing this crap for games I enjoyed but wasn’t that invested into the world. Anywho, now that I stopped doing this, I feel more relaxed playing games like a normal gamer boy. Among all the games I have and managed to play and beat, currently Armored Core 6 has been a blast to continue playing. Will definitely play and NG++ also haven’t touched the PVP cuz I want more chrome. Also continued from where I left off on Yakuza 0 and it also has me hooked. I have the other games in the series still waiting to be played from 1 and 2 Kiwami (Remakes), 3-5, 7 Like a Dragon and Ishin. Will get the next two. Nowadays I look for games that have SP and MP so I can play with friends. If there’s a SP game like Yakuza/Like a Dragon that offers over 20 or so hours of things to do and priced at $60 or less then you got me.
Lol that’s cool man. I really used to be a perfectionist and trophy hunt as well, but you’re totally right, at some point it becomes a chore and is too much stress. Glad you’re able to enjoy a variety of games now without the need to perfect them!
From the title I thought you were going to list three popular title the gaming community can't stop playing, in a general sense. This was more personal than I realized and truly made me think. A friend recently started a single player game and was telling me all the amazing things. It's been years honestly since i've sat down and devoted time and effort into a single player game. You explained it all so well but at the end you challenged us to try the other side of things. I love me a multiplayer game all day.. but maybe I should look into a story game.. even if it's a short one like you mentioned. So thanks for making this video and making me want to step out of my comfort zone.
I have completely another problem. I can't for the Life of me playthrough again. Sekiro bc I wanted to see the other endings but effed up n took the Shura ending which literally splits the game half. But I wasn't enjoying it anymore like that. To me, it's about the story/ atmosphere. Plus it was fun to actually beat the bosses like nothing. GTA is so Old I forgot the story lol so I played one of those twice. I was like 75% done with DS3 on PS4 but found ps5 n didn't know I could just move the save into that one 💀 So now after a year break I want to play it do bad but I've forgotten how so I get my ass handed to me. 😢 Barely remember what path to take! Anyways I'm thinking about starting DS3 over ( I know I can build better) but when I reminisce of it I can't believe I'm throwing all that time to trash. That's how it feels. When I'm done with game I'm done . Starting elden Ring from the beginning is my worst nightmare
Idk why but for me I don’t start new games often because knowing I have work the next day or after the weekend makes me feel like I don’t have enough time to sit and play something new. It’s like when you tell yourself you need to start going to the gym but it’s too deep into the week to go so you’re like “I’ll just start next week.” Because of that, I just go back to something I’ve already started or isn’t story focused. Anyone else do that too?
I found myself liking games that are really easy to involve in with light story and easy rewarding gameplay, yet it's a single player game, for example A short hike, Lil gator, Unpacking, reventure or any other game like this
Me after two hours of Starfield I hopped on valorant. The only recent single player game I liked was Hogwarts legacy.. it was linear, difficult enough, but immersive and the narrative was set in a world I grew up in. Not as much replay-ability, but I’d rather play a solid linear game once than a game like cyberpunk or Starfield which has too many options or kind of sand-boxy. (Having ADHD doesn’t help) I always end up on competitive games. Or occasionally stuff like insomniacs Spider-Man’s when those games came out - again shorter / sweet linear but immersive story games
My explanation is simple: story games make me wanna end it cus they’re so boring. Like omg i rather die than play god of war its so shit. However i have 3k hours on apex legends so..
As someone who have played both, MP doesn't give me as much replayability, mostly due to I hate competitive gaming so I never want to get on. And a lot of SP games I play may have a linear story but has ways to do things differently and can be played in short bursts if wanted to. And also having to sync up with friends can be extremely difficult for MP while SP you only need yourself. Also there are a lot of SP games that isn't linear and very open ended: Minecraft, Terraria, Stardew Valley, Skyrim, etc. Where you decide how the game is played and can find a lot of different ways to play it and don't need a lot of time as you can pick up and play for a few minutes and get off. I did enjoy your video but it feels very biased towards MP over SP, when there's a lot of SP games that isn't time consuming and have a lot of replayability. Also that's not including rhythm games that take time to get good and invest in a lot of hours trying to be perfect while also being fun, replayable and most times SP.
I wish more game developers would implement the kind of NG+ Devil May Cry has in their games, it's pretty much the only kind of NG+ that matters. What's the point of carrying over all your gear to the next playthrough if nothing can challenge you? Up the difficulty, change every encounter, and make the stronger enemies appear early, maybe even introduce a new mechanic in the hardest difficulty too (devil trigger for enemies in DMC's case).
I play really niche games like older Devil May Cry, Godhand, etc, so feeling like you have missed challenge/mastery aspect for single player games as well. These games are known for having deep combat systems that having a few runs doesn't give em justice, despite having same content unlike roguelikes.
one really good example of a replayable game is roblox, it has such a wide variety of games, you can constantly find new games for years, i've played roblox since 2016, and im still playing it all the time.
This reminded me why I went to Singleplayer Games. Before that I only played minecraft then csgo and clash of clans then lol for countless hours. But I am so glad im playing now Singleplayer because I was really missing out just queing into these multiplayers.
A lot of single player games I will play through once and probably never play through them again or for a very long time. God of War, Spiderman, Arkham games, Horizion, etc. There's a few exceptions like Bethesda RPGs, Rockstar games, and FromSoft games, and Dragon's Dogma, these can be played a ton over and over.
I consider a game to be good if I was able to put in over 500 hours into it. Which is I'm selective about which ones I buy and play. I never understood people who just wanted to buy some game to play over a weekend.
Of course, I've invested lots of hours in Elden Ring and other dark souls like. And what I do with my character build when I finish the game? invade or ply coop for other hilarity
Look at how the games are designed and what keeps you playing. This includes everything from how unique the sandbox is for you to experiment in to what rewards you can achieve
For me I buy multiple games at a time and I try to stay away from Fortnite, cod, overwatch , etc (except for csgo) but I would always play one at a time then when I uninstall it I play another except for god of war 2018.
I played tons of platformer and story based games like RPGs. Then I discovered competitive fighting games and it was a new gaming experience for me. Discovering how far you can push the game against other live players at an arcade. I devoted 10 years to Street Fighter 3: Third Strike and ignored every new game I bought because I kept discovering new strategies. In the fighting game scene, I discovered players who specialize in one game. There are those who only play Street Fighter 2 Turbo to this day in 2023. Having too many games to play is a good problem from the gamers side. I remember back in the NES days, I rented Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers from Blockbuster and beat it in 30 minutes. Then replay it because it was simply enjoyable to play. Like rewatching a good movie.
Its harsh truth, you need to put your mind and soul to story games, yeah I know it's difficult to start, I still think story games way better than multiplayer.
Outside of cod and the sports games most games are free and have been around for many years. Ive been playing rocket league on and off for 7 years and am now in the top 5% or so of players its a fun game and has long term payoff in progress. My favorite single player games i can replay every year or so and devote quite a bit of time but it gets stale since you know where everything is and how to optimize it. Go back and play any singleplayer game you havent done in awhile and you will probably be surprised at how much easier it is than what you remember the first yime around
Its pretty simple. If you like a game you keep playing it. Same reason people go out and play sports like pick up basketball, golf or tennis because they enjoy it. A game is a game whether its in real life and physical or on a screen.
I feel like my love for competitive multiplayer shooters comes from that instant gratification of knowing that I'm improving, instead of the slower nature of single player games when you don't really feel like your improving at anything due to how linear most single player story games are (with the exception of games like breath of the wild or GTA). Great video, really helped me understand why when my friends recommend me single player games and I hate them so I just go back to grinding cs
where exactly are you "improving" in gta? you get more money to buy more stuff if that's what you mean but that's not improving as almost in all games you get some form of currency, experience, or whatever to unlock or buy better gear, equipment, items and so on
For me, Monster Hunter fills the perfect niche for this. It's absolutely endless replayability, because you're always challenging yourself to find new ways to beat the monster, to beat it faster, exploring new play styles, trying new builds, and there's so many endless combinations of skills and playstyles that it's pretty much infinite. Not to mention the combat itself is absolutely exhilarating. But it's also multiplayer, so you can go burn time goofing off with people and the level of challenge varies greatly due to all the different types of monsters in the game. Truly my favorite franchise of all time.
@@Sweht Now is a great time to try out Monster Hunter: World in particular! With the announcement of Wilds, Capcom has been pushing World quite hard, and the player numbers have skyrocketed back into the six digits. I highly highly recommend it. You might take a little time to really sink your teeth into it and get into a good groove, but once you do, you can hardly put it down.
I buy so many games but only seem to beat indie games because it’s a lot faster and I just don’t have the time to beat those massive AAA games with kids a wife and work. I will say it does feel good when I do beat one of those big AAA games tho.
I won 2314wins in call of duty battle royal and i stop playing 2years ago and i stop playing bc it geting to easy i punch a team of 4 no gun and they have gun that why i stop and im still waiting Btw the mobie one
I am a core gamer and i play all genres of games but as i grow older getting married and having two kids... I realize i don't have the luxury to play big open worlds or story games like elden ring (i finished elden ring over five times completionist runs by the way). Not because i don't have the time but that time is better spent working to earn a living to sustain my family and get a good retirement plan... I live in a 3rd world country, i could've made gaming into a career if i was in a first world country... Recently i stumbled into Hades and boy do i love the game! Cos in between tasks and work i could finish the game twice or thrice and have some uniques experience... I think even the story and massive open world games should have a replayability components as standard option... After my first completionist run of GOW ragnarok i find my self stripped of all motivation to play through it again....
Yeah man, I think plenty of other people can relate. Gaming takes up a ton of time. There are definitely a ton of priorities that come in place of gaming, but most of them are waaay more important. Hope you’re able to enjoy games and balance being a great family man as well! Maybe even pass the love of games to your family as well!
No matter how stresful Fortnite is for me and my gaming freinds it's still a fun way to socialize and play together in our own little space. I still love Single Player games but I deffiently find myself playing multiplayer games more and more these days.
I have my steam library with alot of unplayed games and always keep playing Arkham Asylum, POSTAL 2 and Session. There are unplayed games I have that I do want to play, but if Im not motivated even a bit to say "Lets play it" it will remain there.
It's gotten easier to be content in sticking to a single FPS game considering the state of the FPS market.

My thin skin "saved me" from these online games. I stopped playing Dota 2 because people were so mean, I went to play CSGO and also stopped because of toxic players. Went to play Overwatch and got bullied so hard I cried. So I'm just gonna play my singleplayer games and avoid all this BS.
Dang, sorry to hear the community was so toxic. They definitely can be super vile. Hope that you enjoy your single player games and I hope if you ever pick up a multiplayer game, it treats you well!!
I have been playing the same few games for my entire life, I would sometimes try a few new games, maybe even beating a few triple A games, but I will always end up playing Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Terraria and a few others again after a long break, maybe I was waiting for a new update, maybe I got bored or sick of playing that game, but those few games always bring me joy more than other
This is so real, I have like 37 games in my backlog and even with all the games ive completed ive put 2.5x more of the time in singleplayer games combined into multiplayer 😭😭
Good video 👍 thank you😊. I play mostly Rimworld, Civilization & Minecraft. I banned Mutliplayer for myself because the fanbase is toxic on Civ and Mine... And Rimworld has no multiplayer at all😢...... But I thank you anyway😊 the video is well made, and does not insult, very well and assertively said❤
I just like games where I can practice for many hours and then see the results of the hard work paying off (by comparing myself to other real players). Like grinding in a single-player game but has real-life consequence (e.g. developing muscle memory, improving reaction time, motor skills, etc). CSGO is perfect for this, you can develop skills to be really quick at recognising threats, doing something about the threat, quick thinking, pattern-recognition, problem solving, teamwork, communication, mind-games, etc.
My two cents is that I believe it centers around how much attention people have nowadays. Actually, it's how little attention we have nowadays. Multiplayer games are usually short matches which end in a couple minutes. SIngle player games involve you to pay attention for longer periods of time which is usually harder for the adderall aged group of gamers. Also, how competitive are you? I could give two shits about winning any kind of COD, Fortnite, Battle Royal ++, etc match. Most people who arent competitive arent stuck in the same cycle as you.
That’s fair. Not everyone is the same as each other, but I do think as you age and have less time, you won’t want to spend it on long term investments. It’s easier to play and gives a quicker rush to play competitive quick games than it is to play a longer story games. I love both types, but man it can be hard to do the story games because they take so long… I don’t have time anymore lol
Listening to this as i queue up for my 6000th game of aram sure does hit different. Counter to that tho, i generally only play single palyer games as long as im enraptured by rhe gameplay loop. Hardspace shipbreaker is one of my favorite single player experiences of the past few years, and by most accounts its a lonely game opining about workers rights that probably fell short with its intended message. Rogue legacy, an indie roguelite platformer from the early 2010s, has sucked up 650 hours of my life according to steam. Storytelling in video games is almost inconsequential to me. I put more than 200 hours into cyberpunk, just driving around and exploring, i never finished the main storyline but that hasnt dampened my enjoyment of the game at all. Great video, im trying to make my way through DSR this year, dunno if ill beat it but its a nice change of pace from *an ally has been slain*
😂 dude, I’ll look into the games you mentioned when I find some time. The message behind Hardspace Shipbreaker sounds enticing for sure. Good luck on those Aram games. Maybe I’ll face you one of these days!
Problem with story games nowdays is that you just don't care. At least not enough. Devs literally make so it's more boring to do anything or you can't even do anything that matters, it's all scripted. Complete opposite of what's in human's nature - being free without restrictions (or limited). And a lot of them are cringe, that's also what keeps from playing for example, me.
FPS addicts may I introduce you to Ultrakill. You’ll be kept busy with that game for about… forever. There are so many videos out there that describe why Ultrakill is amazing better than I ever could so just watch one of those. Just trust me on this one and get Ultrakill.
