That couple got a nice house in a nice community, they where smart to pass on the Villages, as the water where they are makes it seem, as if it is on the coast.
Absolutely lovely home, nicer than any of the designer homes I’ve seen in video tours of The Villages. I agree with this sweet couple that TV is too large and too busy and congested. No bonds here either. We are private people, not big joiners, and Solivita looks great. How nice that this couple lives near their son’s family in Celebration.
Hey folks. We're from NC and hooked on your videos exploring the area down there. We're about 9yrs out from retirement and really excited about an inclusive community in central Florida. Anyway, your videos are not just informative but super fun to watch. We have many cozy evenings watching one or both of you exploring and just laughing along with you and looking forward to our future. Thanks for what you do. :) Jeremy & Melissa
FYI in case you’re not aware, when editing you shouldn’t use copyrighted music, or your videos will be demonetized. My husband and I are thinking about Florida when we retire, and I enjoy your videos.
Thrilled this couple found their dream home and dream community for them. I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Villages - can’t imagine living anywhere else. I feel blessed to have found my dream home and dream Village here in The Villages.
Please be respectful of people's choices and decisions. Nice thing about other communities is there aren't high HOA fees and also other fees. I know how HOA fees increase over the years because swimming pools tennis courts and many other common areas can cost a lot to maintain after the builder leaves. Builders can set HOA fees lower to attract people to buy new houses. I served on the HOA board for a 365 Townhomes Neighborhood in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC for multiple years. Our builder set the HOA fees at $32/month by the time I sold my Townhouse we were up to over $85 a month for the HOA fees even after we setup a contract for the neighborhood next to us to pay out over $10,000 a year to let them use our pool also. Pools are very expensive to maintain, they crack, they leak, they need white coating, they need new pumps, they need new tile, they need new decking around the pool, the supplies to keep the water at the perfect pH is expensive, pool furniture is expensive to maintain plus very expensive to replace including tables chairs loungers and umbrellas Pools and Boats are both great to have yet they are also very expensive to maintain. You don't realize until you serve on a HOA or Condo Board of Directors. Management Company contracts Pool Contracts, Landscaping contracts, Trash Pickup contracts, and other contracts. I highly recommend to review the HOA Annual Budget before buying any home that has HOA By Laws since HOA fees not paid can turn into a Lien against your home.
Hope they don’t have some golf balls hitting their windows. And if they think that fence will keep an alligator out…they obviously don’t know anything about FL wildlife.
