Thank you for the helpful video. Is the Sanyo San'in pass good to use the Nozomi line? Also the pass covers fare from Hakata to Kyoto? Thank you.

Hello, does this pass covers back and forth travel between cities within specified period? For example I will start my journey from Hakata to Osaka, will my Osaka-Hakata travel still covered by the pass? Thank you in advance

Now the JR WEST or EAST pass can be use for automatic gates. And The Sanyo-Sanin Pass have been Expand .

Hi. this ticket covers shinkansen from Shin Osaka to Hakata. So when I travel from Osaka to Hakata using shinkansen, can I stop at Hiroshima, spend some time there, then board shinkansen again to Hakata?

Absolutely! This ticket covers rides on the JR Pass within a specified time period (1 week). We recommend referring to the JR Pass website for what the restrictions are.

speaking of Tokaido-Sanyo Line Special RapidYasu, is this a train where you need to buy a jr ticket, or a normal train where you just board?

Great question, and we hope we are understanding your question correctly. There is no train in Japan where you exclusively need a JR Pass. There are train lines that are operated by the JR (Japan Rail) company, and train lines that are operated by other companies. You can get onto any train without a JR Pass as long as you can buy the ticket or use the IC card. Otherwise, having a JR Pass will only cover your rides on trains operated by the JR company. Be careful though, as JR Passes may restrict the use of some JR train lines. We hope this helps!
