Last year I was walking down the street, going to university when a pitbull like him runned towards me without his owner. At first my heard shrunk but when he came closer I saw he is just lost and wanted to find his home. A car almost hit him so I catched him and took him to a safer place. He was really strong so it has hard to hold him but he was also very very sweet. I succeed to find his owner, we found out that the doggo escaped from the garden so I brought him back. A week later I met him and his owner on the street, he immediatelly noticed me, started running towards me, layed down on his back and wanted belly rub. I was so happy that he recognized me, he is such a good boi.

I am so impressed that you managed to keep your wits because seeing an unknown dog running towards me in the street is literally one of my worst fears (to the point where, when I’m outside I create “escape” plans and take note of places I could easily climb where I couldn’t be reached) I’m glad you found his owner! He’s very lucky he came across you ^^

@@NatLaS a totally understandable reaction! I have a 60 lb pittie and while yes, she's friendly, she also refuses to stop jumping on people when she gets excited. We went to a community park once, where I let her off her leash. Normally if there's someone there I ask permission before I let her loose and make sure she gets to meet them first. This time though there was a guy asleep on the bench that I didn't notice until I saw her running at him. Poor guy essentially wakes up to see this big dog running up to him and all I can do is shout "she's friendly! She's totally friendly I promise!" I felt so bad do him but luckily he fell in love fairly quickly once she tackled him with kisses. 😩

Very impressive. Normally in my old neighborhood I had to keep a ton of rocks on me to shake at the stray dogs in the neighborhood. They were all local but they would get out during the day, roaming around in a pack, and generally being a nuisance. So glad you were able to reunite the dog with their owner?

I had a friend with three fairly large pitbulls. He once warned me not to pet a specific one, to which I responded, " I'm not afraid of him". I made the "Mistake" of petting him, and from that moment on the dog would practically bowl me over asking for pets every time I visited. My friend laughed and said " I told you not to pet him" lol.

Tell that to childen who got killed by them. Pitbulls are banned for a reason. Also Russians pet bears too but that doesn't make them any less dangerous. Your single experience doesn't prove anything when the overwhelming majority of dog fatalities are caused by pitbulls eventhough there are many different breeds. Your propaganda won't work on people with higher IQ than room temperature.
@Mid-iala
@Mid-iala 8 месяцев назад
@@Esotericspirits Blame the owners, blame the communities, blame the people. But not the animals that never had a choice to begin with. Your experience isn't everyone else's and all dogs have the capacity to inflict harm under the right circumstances. Treating these animals like they're satan spawn and stigmatizing them doesn't improve on dog handling safety, it simply slows and stalls. They are the result of keeping our eyes averted, of not looking closely enough- We wouldn't throw out an abused child that lashes out, or runs away and commits harm when without supervision. Animals that can be rehabilitated should be. We're dealing in dogs, not cobras. If we want to talk about propaganda, wipe the sweat from your eyes and look around first. Dumpsters worth of dog corpses, while the people who break these animals, who make them into the monsters people see them as get to continue doing so. Ban pit-bulls, and it'll be another dog they use. Ban that one, and it'll be another. We went from Rottweilers, Dobermans, what next? Where does it stop?

@danielleza908 8 месяцев назад
@@Esotericspirits No, not all pitbull owners are criminals, which is why the vast majority of pitbulls don't attack humans. I use a wheelchair, and the dogs that are the nicest to me tend to be big dogs that other people might find scary: German Shepherds, Rottweilers, etc. They seem to understand that something is different about me and/or my legs and they get protective of me. I distinctly remember wheeling around my local dog park (it was wonderful exercise and I got to make four-legged friends on my breaks!) pre-pandemic, where a pair of rottweilers decided I was their new best friend. They walked alongside me as I wheeled around the entire walking trail. When dogs who didn't like/didn't understand wheelchairs would bark at me, they would bark back and get between me and the other dogs. My sister's German Shepherd mix, Louis, notices when my sister's other doggies ( a lab mix, Dana and what we think is a pit bull mix, Rosie) start playing too rough and jumping on me. Sometimes I get on the floor to play, sitting with my legs straight out in front of me. if they're being too rough, Louis will stand over my legs, blocking them from jumping on me. No growling, no barking. Just firmly standing his ground. He's so gentle and sweet!

There is valid reasons to crop some dogs ears/dock tails. Usually it’s to prevent injury in dogs who are properly defensively trained, as floppy ears and long tails can be used as leverage and grabbed by the aggressor. Extremely excitable dogs can also cause serious damage to their tails by hitting them on various objects. Allegedly cropping the ears can help with ear infections as well, however there’s negative connotations to the procedures if performed incorrectly. All in all I personally wouldn’t deem someone a good owner merely for not cropping the ears.

Yes that is the problem, plus that response is bred into them unfortunately which means even the sweetest pit can turn. You would have no chance, nor would your child or other pets. It’s such a shame because they are beautiful, however it is true. I would never have a pit bull for that reason. If you ignore the facts from some sense of blind loyalty then any consequence is on you. Don’t have children, would be my advice. 😔

Sadly, this breed is often favored by the very type of people that should never own animals, and they are abused, poorly trained, and owned only as ornaments of a certain lifestyle. Slowly, the breed is becoming more appreciated by owners who properly train and care for them, which is of course a great thing to help mitigate the stigma.
@TranquilVirga
@TranquilVirga 3 года назад
I see way too many stories of people that raised these dogs from puppies, well-trained and socialized, only for the dog to snap and attack the owner, children, other dogs, what have you, completely unprovoked. They do not show signs that they are going to attack, that is a breed trait. They do not let go once they've latched on, also another breed trait (it's called gameness). Bully breeds were bred for one job: to excel at killing anything in a fighting pit. Ignoring those breed traits and calling them "family dogs" knowing that they were bred for bloodsport only leads to suffering.

Say that to the kids who got mauled by them for no reason ALL THE TIME. IT'S THE BREED, NOT THE OWNER. There is a reason so many places banned those dogs. Pitbull's account for 68% of fatal dog bites to humans and 80% of fatal bites to other pets despite making up only 6% of the U.S dog population. People report that a Pitbull has never been agressive until randomly, but the issue with pitbulls is that they never show clear signs of being agitated which is mistaken as non-agression. Also, they do catastrophic damage because they are bred to fight until they "neutralize" an opponent or they are "neutralized". They pretty much have no concept of self preservation.
@Ellie-vb9vm
@Ellie-vb9vm Месяц назад
@KaylaJones2000 how far into your @ss did you have to reach for those statistics you made up? It is the owners fault ultimately, and this isn't a chicken or egg situation. if there is a culture that insists on using dogs for violence, breeding/inbreeding dogs for violence, killing dogs for violence, then of course the breed is going to develop not a high violence drive, but a high obedience drive. violence begets violence and violent, awful owners beget violent dogs and awful situations. they are intelligent, high energy dogs that are usually taken in by lazy owners that do not understand that pitbulls need years upon years of training and socialization, LIKE ANY G*DDAMN DOG. YOU ARE LETTING A DOMESTICATED WOLF INTO YOUR HOUSE AND HOME, ACT LIKE IT. I don't get why people don't understand the same need for a retriever or a shepherd but apply the same standards for pitbulls- the only thing that makes them genuinely more dangerous is the fact that deescalation has been bred out of them (a behavior able to be retrained) and that most people who get pitbulls are ones looking to beget further violence. do you need to shake your skull to tighten some of those loose screws or have things been properly explained for you?

When I was in college, I was the victim of a horrible pit bull attack. I still remember it to this day. I was walking down the sidewalk one time when I encountered a man working on a little sign outside his shop. He had his pitbull with him - a solid brick house of a dog. When I got close, the pittie started wagging her tail and getting excited. If only I'd paid a little more attention. The owner even warned me, too. He noticed me coming, noticed his dog's reaction. He told me, "Careful, she's a kisser". But too little, too late. By the time I'd registered the statement, the pittie had bounced up and licked my face. Truly traumatizing. In all seriousness, I love pitties. The one I met above was a sweetie. I went back several times after that to dote on her.

I'm a dog walker, and pit bulls are my FAVORITE breed to walk. They're always the sweetest things, and one saved my life when i fell while on the job and got a concussion. I wandered around, totally blanked out, for nearly 40 minutes, a block away from a busy highway. This sweet boy kept me on the sidewalk, out of danger, until i "woke up" with no memory of that day. Scariest moment of my life. He sat on my feet, giving me kisses and making sure i was safe, until someone came to take me to the hospital. Pitties are so sweet, just like any other dog breed, but there's something special about them. If i survive my blue heeler mix puppy, i will definitely be getting a pittie someday. There are no bad dog breeds, just bad owners. But toy breeds do make me question that occasionally 👀 Jk, it's the bad owners there too

Mmhm. My sis in law has some very sweet little lap dogs, but they aren't well disciplined. If they weren't so good natured and comfortable with being picked up and cuddled, the noisy little things would be absolute terrors because their owners are frankly a little too indulgent and didn't train them well. It's often assumed that a little dog can't do as much damage as a bigger one, and that because of their small size, it's okay to just manhandle one and ignore its comfort with being touched and held. It can sometimes just make an insecure little animal even less secure in its safety, so it acts out more.
@AskMia411
@AskMia411 2 года назад
@@etcetera1995 Exactly. It's easier to overlook behavior problems in small breeds because it doesn't seem like a big deal when you can just pick them up when they misbehave, but that will just make the problem worse. I feel like small breeds are a little notorious for being nippy, and starting fights with other dogs, because their owners don't understand that those cute little barks and growls are signs of aggression, and that larger dogs will not tolerate being harassed and nipped at. And it's too bad, because toy breeds are very cute, and on the whole, very sweet dogs, I'm glad your sister in law's dogs are sweet with their people and have escaped the Napoleon complex many toy breeds end up with! I feel like a crash course on dog behavior should be mandatory for getting a dog, of any size.

Y e s, I believe it is in fact the owner. While yes, dogs have been bred for certain characteristics, it really does depend on the owner if some characteristics will show, such as aggression. Sadly, at least in my country, there is a list with 'dangerous' dog breeds. You need a licence to own one and many Pet vacation homes or groomers will turn them down because as the law states, if anything were to happen with a list-dog (literally what the breeds are referred to) the vacation home or groomer isn't covered by insurance since they willingly agreed to take the risk. Which is bullshit but I guess many people are too cautious. Not like another breed couldn't cause damage but insurance will cover it unlike they do with list-dogs.

Bull baiting was banned before the Apbt(the Real Pit Bull) even exist. Once Staff bull terrier were imported to America. The Americans wanted a longer legged staff for Dogfighting. So they created the Pit Bull. The name Pit Bull went from Pit bull to Pit Bull terrier and Chauncey Bennett register them as the American Pit Bull Terrier in 1898.

They were very apologetic and explained that they were new dog owners and that they had training booked in the coming days and said to us “I’m so sorry he did that, we’re going to put him in time out for a few minutes” and then before we could explain that that wouldn’t work they walked a few metres over in the field and made their Pitt sit and then they just stayed there for like five minutes. Given that they were going to training we kinda just kept going on our way but it was so awkward to watch haha. Pitts are wonderful dogs, they just need guidance. That goes for all dogs though…

You almost have to kill them most of the time to stop the attack. All dogs have an innate ability to attack things unprovoked, whether it be humans or other dogs, even golden retrievers. Interesting, I’ve been bitten twice by dogs. One was a Chihuahua, and one was a Pekingese. I’ve also met two pitbulls. One was a massive male, bred to look scary- and there was literally nothing scary or remotely aggressive about him. The other was a smaller female, and she was absolutely instrumental in helping my abused rescue dog in coming out of his shell, and gaining healthy confidence, while being the most loving, affectionate dog herself. The Chihuahua who bit me was a stranger. The Pekinese on the other hand was a dog I had lived with for years. I leaned over on the couch to reach for the remote, and the dog in the next seat lunged and attacked my face. Ripped into my lip and took a bit off my nose. That dog incidentally, also has bitten, or attempted to bite, Every Single Person he’s ever met. His owners, me, my friends, his groomers, his vet/vet techs, Everyone. By all accounts if he’d of been reported like dog bites are supposed to be, that dog would have been put down before he even turned three. And this dog has never once been abused or mistreated in his entire life. He was bred from responsible owners, cared for by my aunt/grandma all his life, pampered and spoiled like king. So tell me again how pitbulls are SO dangerous and should immediately be judged and treated like monsters. Oh and if you want to see what I mean by how vicious Pekes can be, I believe it’s on Girl With The Dogs 2, Vanessa does a video where she tries to groom a Peke, exactly like the one my aunt owns. In regards to so many comments here downplaying the responsibility of having a large dog or pitbull: We literally bred pitbulls to be dangerous, it’s not their fault but if you own a pitbull or really, any large dog for that matter you need to be realistic about their strength, training and that they very easily could seriously harm someone. Dog owners need to get over yourselves and realize they can be both your sweet baby and a possible danger to others - train your dogs and be responsible pls.
@khaleesireyna731
@khaleesireyna731 3 месяца назад
I think, in general, most people who own/train big dogs realize that they have to work on additional training because of their size (ie teaching them not to jump around on people because they can knock a person over without meaning to, teaching them to play gently/not nip because their nipping can be a lot more hazardous without them meaning to, etc). Big dogs of any breed take extra work because of their size. Most dog owners understand that. I think there's a lot more generalization/lazier attitudes toward small dogs because people think "oh, they're small, they can't hurt you" which is never the right mindset to have. Any dog of any size can be a hazard if untrained. So far from what I've seen in the comments, it's mostly just fellow pittie owners talking about how sweet their dogs are because pitties in particular get a bad rep, even if it's unfair. For example, the statistics around fatal/non-fatal dog bites from 2000-2020, there were about 1,000 lethal dog attacks. Of those lethal attacks, pit bulls made up about 670 of them (about 67%). Sounds high right? Here's the thing. Pit bulls in these statistics equate about 7 different breeds of dogs, including American Red Nosed Pitties, Staforshire Pit Terriers, American Bulldogs, American Pit Terriers, and mixed breed pitties. So the stats are already skewed because it's actually about 7 different breeds that make up that 67%. It'd be like if all dogs with floppy ears were considered one breed and were counted in those stats. Untrained pitties can be just as dangerous as any untrained large breed dog, yet it's the pitties that get the bulk of the stigma. Everyone here isn't negating the danger of untrained large dogs. We're just trying to do what the Girl With Dogs is doing: break the stigma around what is generally a wonderful dog breed.

@@khaleesireyna731 you're either ignorant or willfully malicious. Sure they may have grouped 7 breeds into pit bulls but those studies also grouped other breeds into specific groups. Also overall they had 41 groups total being compared. Even if you expanded pitbulls from 1 group to 7 separate ones, you would be accounting for 7 out of 47 groups and therefore you would expect ~15% of the incidents to be from "pitbulls". That pales in comparison to the 67% statistic observed in reality. Oh and if you look at their charts they do count "american bulldog" as its own group. Not sure why you are saying it is seen as part of the "pittbull" group. Even taking into account your criticism they are more than 4 times more likely to bite than most other groups. They are clearly dangerous pets and anyone who keeps saying they are little angles does more harm than good. If we collectively acknowledged they are bad we may actually be able to move on and try to find out the reason for it and attempt to rectify it. @@rawjan39 this was probably not a purebred. But pitt type, regardless. Shaped more like a pocket bully (broad shoulders, short legs) but clearly had pitt facial shape and demeanor. Big old thick head, built for kisses, both giving and receiving lol This really has nothing to do with the story though. No one is going to check real quick that your pitt is purebred if something happens, if they even resemble a pitt just an itty bitty bit, that's what people will judge it as. The point of the story is that pitties (even though backyard bred all the time and crossed) still have good, loving hearts. Kinda sad you felt the need to comment, there's no need for that here.

@@WebberSomn Let me guess you’re one of those people that compares pitbull discrimination to racism. Well guess what, dogs are actually different to humans. Animals, believe it or not, are born with inherited behaviours. Humans are too, but not nearly to the same degree as animals. That’s why saying it’s “stereotyping” is so stupid when it’s proven certain breeds inherit certain behavioural traits. Retriever dogs retrieve, herding dogs herd. They both do this instinctively because that’s what they were bred for. What were pitbulls bred for? Fighting! They were not bred to be nanny dogs like many believe. This doesn’t even cover the consequence of inbreeding in the bully lines, creating brain defects and causing the dogs to turn on their owners out of nowhere. It wouldn’t matter how well trained they are, for many it’s only a matter of time before they snap. Pitbulls are also extremely strong compared to other dog breeds. Many people have no chance against them. And even if you can fight them off, you’re going to be left seriously injured. People are right to “discriminate” against this breed. I wouldn’t want an overpowered animal that could potentially snap and kill me or my kids for no reason around.

He bit or tried to bite almost everyone but myself and my daughter. He attacked our poor sweet pittie so much that when he started limping we thought that was why. Turns out our sweet rescue had bone cancer and we lost him after many tests and tries to help him. He had a bad case of little dog syndrome I'm afraid. The pitties never put him down or hurt him. She was from a hoarder house and needed a friend to help her fears & anxieties. The Aussiedoodle had been under trained & socialized and under exercised. The girls keep each other exercised and after 10 months of attention & training they are both much calmer and happy. Pits are amazing and I love them, but am of an age and size, I need to work with smaller less muscular dogs. The neighbor has a 70 pound pittie, who I adore, but he runs over and knocks me flat on the ground if I don't see him coming and brace myself. Working in a dog kennel, I always had a soft spot for the pitties. Or really any dogs that fell under the “aggressive breeds” (heavy sarcasm) label. We had a pibble come in named Jax that my boss labelled as “mean” pretty much right away. And essentially forbade me from actually having any contact with him. Jax was scared as heck, he’d never been away from his family before, and was suddenly surrounded by a bunch of new things. Including 6 huskies just down the hall who liked to serenade everyone… frequently. I sat outside his door, and ignored him for 5 minutes. Once he stopped barking at me, opened his door and continued ignoring him. Within another 5 minutes, I had 90 lbs of pittie in my lap, fast asleep, no longer shaking, barking, or scared. The only damage that baby caused me was breaking my heart when he went back home when his family picked him up, and bruising the absolute crap out of my legs with his whip tail because he was wagging it too hard! He still hated my boss though lmfao

Sadly, we were far more likely to have issues with Chihuahuas, Jack Russells, or cocker spaniels than any other breed that came in because, like you said, people treat them like toys, not dogs. The only malicious bites I've ever received were from cocker spaniels, and one damn near severed the nerves that control my thumb. Here’s the thing. Pit bulls are the only dogs that, as puppies, have the possibility to literally eat their litter mates when there is still plenty of food. Cannibalism has never been seen in puppies that have access to food and water, but pit bulls lack the instinct to stop attacking each other when they hear a whimper. Not all dogs, I agree, but pit bulls genetics have been fucked up for a while because they were so heavily used in dog fighting. They are naturally less intelligent than most other breeds. It’s why I stick to GS’s and Border Collie’s, I like em smart My personal story btw, I was attacked by my friends pitbull. I knew the dog for 3 years and knew him from being a puppy, went and hung out with him regularly. He bit me when we were playing one day but wouldn’t let go, even as I was yelling at him. 2nd attack was my cousin. She also knew a pitbull owned by a friend from when it was a puppy, for 6 years. Cuddling on the couch with her while they all watched TV, and completely unprovoked looked up and lunged onto her face. She had to get 4 plastic surgeries to put her face back together. Both dogs in these situations were trained, had good families, and knew the victim well. They just fucking snapped.

The first point is patently untrue. I'm not sure where you got your information, but... Seriously? Use your head; there wouldn't be nearly as many pitbulls around if cannibalism as puppies was documented. The least intelligent breed of dog is the borzoi, and they are lovely long noodly companions. A dog can be dumb as rocks and still be trainable. A pair of fascinating anecdotes. However, in terms of statistics and facts, they are irrelevant without data to back them up. Not only that, but I find it extremely hard to believe. A pitbull doesn't "lock its jaw" as that is an old wives tale. Nor does any dog attack unprovoked. According to the ATTS, pitbulls have a temperament rating of 87%, higher than that of a border collie (83%) and on par with that of a German shepherd (85%). Thus, they are just as good dogs when placed in a loving home.

Years ago, I interned at the nutrition department of my univesity's veterinarian hospital. It was a thing most students did to get familiar with the hospital environment, we basically just prepared and distributed the meals of all the animals in the hospital, some of which had needs for special foods, some needed to fed mushed food with a syringe, some were fed through a tube directly to their esophagus... my shifts were on thursday afternoons. One day, in came Bones. A gigantic, BEAST of pure muscle in the shape of a massive pit bull. EVERYONE was wary of him, because an accident with a dog that large would definitely be really serious, so lots of care was taken when handling him. He had something in his penis, I never found out if it was an injury or an infection, but he was bleeding all the time and he looked so sad. Next thurday, I went to see if Bones was still in the hospital, and he was, and also he was everyone's sweetheart by then. He seemed to appreciate having someone nearby at all times and was always so calm. I know some dogs are trained to be aggressive, some just lived hard lives and are scarred by it, but I was so happy that this giant was loved and cared for to the point of being comfortable and soothed around strangers in a place that, to the dog's senses, reeks of death. He recovered and went home after 2 more weeks.

@@bigmanting173 Yes, some chihuahuas are stressed and protective, with owners encouraging their bad behavior thinking it's cute. It's not. But my regular sized chi was sweet and never a problem. She was not one of the "tea cup" chihuahuas people want, so her breeding was better. She was a sweetie.

I remember being at a store talking to the owner, when I suddenly felt a slobbery something touch my hand while I wasn't looking. When I looked down, it was another customer's pitbull that obviously felt I could need some love and attention. That was just too cute. Adorable dogs! (The dog's owner then told me that his dog would normally not be this friendly to strangers, which made me extra happy.)

That last statement was so wholesome...as somebody who worked in a shelter for some time, it still breaks my heart when I think about the time i finally decided to adopt one of the dogs where I was working at (a pitbull ofcourse) only for the real owner to show up one day while i was giving it the last shot before I took him home with me. Turns out "Bruce" (I had named him Barry lol) had been stolen from his property about half a year prior and he was looking for it ever since, the owner had about 200 selfies with him as a puppy, with his kids, with their other dog... Obviously we returned him, but he stayed with me one more month while the shots were taking effect and due to his other dog being ill. I don't think I will ever find a dog that made me feel the way he did when he looked at me.

Animal aggression is typically what we see with those dogs when they are a problem. Very rarely do I see people aggressive bully breeds, and when they have attacked children they've almost always shown animal aggression/prey drive before as a problem behavior. In my experience they actually make relatively poor attack dogs... I guess there's probably a reason police and military typically lean toward shepherd breeds.

The fact that the owners were scared that she wouldn't except Rocky, just because he was a pitbull, is honestly really sad. Also, I just wanted to know, does anyone else's dogs have "zoomies" or is it just my family's dogs xD
@zecardinadraws
@zecardinadraws 3 года назад
All dogs have zoomies XD I have three (technically 4) examples of that. One is my uncle's dog, Bella and if someone knocks on the door or walks in. She goes crazy because she has a new playmate, until she calms down for like an hour than goes back to running everywhere and then I had to pupsit a tiny dog named Butchie and he would take a toy and either go on my bed or on a carpet and then he would rub his head into the carpet/bed while just abusing this poor toy for like 15 minute and then he'd demand pets. Then there's my uncle's cats (the same one who has Bella) Boots and Chunky are normally really chill, but the second Boots gets the zoomies you have to play with him and he gets a little...crazy to the point where I threw a ball and it fell down the stairs so this idiot threw himself down the stairs to grab it and gave me a mini heart attack, while Chunky just kind of...sits there and if you bring out a string she'll play for a bit and then nap. So pretty much, if it breathes, it can have zoomies lol

There are so many idiots with dogs out there!! My stepdad found an abandoned, almost dead, dog out near Speedway one evening. He picked her up and took her to the vet as she had a broken tail and other injuries. However, because she looked like she had some pitbull in her the vet said that his recommendation was to put her down as the pound and animal shelters wouldn't take her. He thought she had probably been bred for fighting but she just didn't have the temperament. My stepdad and Mum kept her. She was gorgeous and hugged my stepdad every day (she'd jump into his lap and put her front paws around his neck). She put up with kids pulling on her ears, trying to stuff grape leaves in her teeth, and many other things that we didn't catch in time to stop.

Just because some pits are nice doesn’t discredit the decades of selective breeding they went through which favored aggressive behavior. I live in a neighborhood where the pits are treated as family dogs and most of the incidents have still involved pits despite huskies and akitas also being regularly seen. “Pits are abused, that’s why they attack” bullshit. Look at all the news articles of pits randomly turning on their own families. I don’t hate pits and have met many nice ones but I’m not gonna just ignore the harsh reality of pits.

The tail on a pit tie is lethal if they’re excited. Don’t stand behind them. They will lick your face with many kisses when happy. They are not taste testing you

The most dangerous part of a pittie is their tail. My family had a German Shepherd and my aunt had a pittie around the same time. If one of us dogsat for the other, we'd joke about how they were a fatal combination--if you stood by their butts you'd get beaten to death by wagging tails and if you were by their heads you were definitely going to be drowned in slobber from kisses.
