Ever wanted to drop everything and hit the road? That's exactly what we did this past week. Life has been pretty discouraging lately, so when an opportunity all the way in Oregon came up at the last minute, we jumped and said, "yes!" Due to the fact the trip was last minute, plane tickets were too expensive, but that's okay, because we've really missed road tripping. Sure, we're making the trip in a rental car and not our old van life setup, but it's not about the rig; it's about getting out there, even for just a couple of weeks.
We're still hopeful 2023 will hold more international adventures, but for now, we're doing what we can and making the most of what we have in front of us. So enjoy this multi-week mini-series of our return to life on the road! :)

Hey y'all! We're Chris + Sara (or as you know us, Let’s Be Us), a husband and wife digital nomad travel duo currently working and traveling full time with our pup, Kramer. I'm glad you all are finding what works for you❤️ Post videos when you truly want to, and we'll be here waiting. I'd rather see occasional videos from RU-vidrs that seem to really be enjoying their life versus the ones that post tons of videos and just seem like they're faking it all the time.

Hey Chris & Sara, I know you guys are known for being digital nomads and travelers. But have you considered posting vlogs at home, day in our lives, week in our lives? It may seem mundane and boring from your end but I’m sure many of us will still watch and be entertained. I think you two are great story tellers and that a big part of why your videos are so great

Thanks so much, Mazaiah! Your comment just made me smile and feel so encouraged. We're definitely trying to rack our brains for lower key ideas closer to home. I'm sure we'll post more from Tennessee from time to time, but we did so much local content during covid we feel a little burned out on that right now. :/ We've also enjoyed keeping our hometown life a bit separate from the RU-vid sphere.Who knows! I'm sure we'll have more videos at home and abroad coming soon. It's ultimately about the creating, and hearing you say you're here for whatever we share is encouraging to break outside the mold a bit. Hope you're doing well!! :)

The snow was a surprise, wasn't it? My daughter that lives in Fairview, OR kinda got stuck in Beaverton, OR with cousins for a couple days. :-) Oregon is sure a long step from Tennessee - I've done it a couple times, and will be doing it again next Fall. Enjoy yourselves out there and be careful...Oregonians drive in the snow about like Tennesseans - not great. You missed a preview of summer here yesterday - 80 degrees in Hendersonville!

So glad your daughter had cousins in the area! It was definitely a mess and Oregonians are as good at driving in the snow as we are. lol I can't believe we missed those pretty days in Tennessee! Hopefully we'll get more soon once we're home. :) Oregon is gorgeous, but it'll be good to be home, too!
