There should be a optional subject for languages in school to choose of India's main languages Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malyalam, Telugu.... As a basic knowledge and tours of that state in every 6 months

We should find a balance between using Hindi and our mother tongue. We shouldn't let our mother tongue die. Sudhir ji! aisa hi ki vyakti jis bhasha ko apne balyakaal se sunta hai, bolta hai, wo usey aasaan lagti hai. Baaki bhasha koi bhi, sammaan ke laayak hai aur apne sahi kaha, ek saamanya bhasha honi chahiye, jo bhartiya paripeksh mein Hindi hi ho sakti hai.

Hindi doesn't belong to any state. It's just a lingua franca, every state or region has its own regional language like maithili, bhojpuri , awadhi , marwari etc. Local styles or influence just makes hindi sound better. We must praise the Sayaars of bollywood like great Majruh Sultanpuri , Sahir Ludhianwi & Shailendra ji for popularizing Hindi dialect. Bollywood played very important role in popularizing Hindi. Present Govt must pay attention to Bollywood films & song 'quality if it wants to promote the usage of Hindi.

They use sooo much Urdu in the name of Hindi it cuts ties with Hindi dialects like khadi boli and so on and khadi boli is a closer dialect. @@anc2092 I don't feel so. Bollywood Hindi Songs, lyrics writers like Majrooh Sultanpuri , Shailendra, Sahir Ludhianwi all knew pulse of Indian public very well. If myself can understand ( 100% Bengali) it very well, then others can too. Public language , You have to make it TRUELY National or True Hindi , even if it does move away from " khadi boli". Words like "Hungama " " Curry" etc are from South tamil, entered in Hindi , true Hindi must have words from all regions. If Hindi becomes inflexible then it would loose it's dynamism & soft power. A true Hindi must have to be understood by Maximum people , even outsiders like Bangladeshis ( they understand very well, due to Bollywood), Afganistanis , Pakis.uzbegs, & far away. It's our market. It's our advantage also , soft power. Our positioning.

Good 👍🏻. Learning many language is good. But, the way Hindi is being imposed across India is problematic.

North India mein bhi sbke apne alg alg language hai bt communication k liye logg Hindi language ka use krte hai jo kafi sahi hai ek common language toh hona chahiye Bt hindi language ko south side se itna hate milta hai ye toh bs communication ko easy bnane k liye bolte hai

Bhai same goes in North too. We have many regional languages in North like Gujrati, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Urdu, Santhali, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Haryanvi etc and still we don't know each other language. But still everyone can communicate easily in Hindi. Unfortunately, in south, politicians are playing divisive politics over languages. learning Hindi will not for eradicating your regional language. Our regional languages are still close to us and coexist along with Hindi and English as common language for communication.

@krishna-ht5iu This is a huge misconception. Hindi emerged from the indigenous non-middle-east influenced language of Khadi Boli and Braj Bhasha. The middle eastern influence on Hindi is only restricted to words and phrases, you can easily substitute each and every middle eastern loanword with an indigenous Sanskrit, Prakrit or Dravidian word. The only thing is, the amount of loanwords from middle east is huge and not everyone has time to filter their language while speaking, that's why Hindi seems 'middle eastern' or 'hybrid', but it is not. Its origin is 100% Indic.
