Thanks! This was a great video; I learned a lot about van life and choosing a van. Emilie and Ray, I love your amazing photography. I imagine this new van will help conserve more of your energy for creativity (as opposed to monitoring and finding a charge for the battery)! Looking forward to your adventures. And please - a tour of the inside of the van!
I have to watch other Videos to see it? Why didn’t your Roadtrek have a fridge or enouph power, mine has propane and a generator and I’ve never had a problem. Was your Roadtrek all electric?
Apologies that you had to watch other videos in order to see inside the unit, we didn’t realize it would bother people when making this video initially. Our Roadtrek maybe had a battery, but we definitely didn’t have enough power to run the fridge. We had propane to cook. We didn’t have a generator. Overall, the battery of this one doesn’t even compare it’s a night and day difference to the Roadtrek. And the build is so nice inside it just feels like an all around upgrade. It’s really cozy and comfortable inside and made from very high quality materials. We love it!
We haven’t had it serviced yet, so I can’t really comment on that - but overall our upgrades in every way make any service price seem worth it to be able to live comfortably and not have to worry on a daily basis about power.
