Man oh man,the bucks have a MASTER plan.They signed mirotic and pau gasol combining that with some role players and draft picks they can make a trade for Anthony Davis and if this doesn't work they can keep these players and sign some discent players with experirnce like derrick rose or all stars like kemba and nikola vucevic.

Honestly speaking he was drafted high considering just how little people knew about him. Not only that it was also very hard to evaluted him becasue he wasn't playing against good competition. He had the potential like alot of other prospects have but even the most optimistic scouts didn''t have him as a MVP candidate in 6 years. Congrats to Bucks for taking a chance.

Yup, we have to remember that it's always a risk taking a teenage project. For every Kobe Bryant, there's a Kwame Brown. Some teams simply don't want to make such a gamble and risk setting their franchises back if the project doesn't work out.

The reason was because the only team that information on Giannis was the Hawks he only went to there camps and there medics. It wasn't till Jeff Teague talked to the Bucks gm for trade request that Giannis came into the picture for them

hindsight is 20/20. most players in the nba aren't MJ or Lebron. They have to learn and develop. Kobe, Paul George, Kawhi, Giannis, Kyle Lowry, Khris Middleton, Jimmy Butler, Vucevic, Jokic, Beal, Klay, Gobert, Tobias Harris, Booker, Siakam, JRich, Steven Adams, JRandle, JMurray are all players who didn't make a splash in their first 2 years or so. The only way to know if most players will be good is their work ethic. Looking back is trendy but not constructive. No one makes money buying high.
