Do we know if all of these T-Mobile devices have the ability to create intermods within our sliver of useful spectrum? That would be a bummer.

A lot of good information... Wouldn't putting your receiving antenna for microphones and sending antenna for IEMs at a 45 degree angle solve a lot of problems since it would be a maz 3db loss at all times? Or for diversity receivers, putting one of the antennas at a 45 or even a 90 (horizontal) as this this what the diversity fin is doing in one package

quick question I have 4 g4 body packs tx and Rx, wanted to find out if it's possible to remove the original antenna and replace with a male bnc connector in order for me to connect it to the ASA 214 to boost my signal...I've tried everything from scanning frequencies to moving close to the talent that's wearing the tx and I still get alot of signal drops/loss...kindly advise if this is possible?

Hey man, I'm guessing you're using the EW-G4 sennheiser wireless units? if not, then just disregard this post hahaha. been using those for a year now, and the drop outs are pretty vast. Good thing is that you can manually modify them and it is actually really easy to do, though I am not 100 certain about the hooking it up to the ASA 214. But as long as it is the same cable going out of the unit into the ASA, my guess is that it shouldn't be a problem. Here is a link to a video detailing how to do the upgrade: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wWpro305EaQ.html (or look for Steve Oakley's video about Sennheiser G3 and G4 SMA Antenna Mod) hope it helps!
