I am a Chinese male growing up with 5 sisters in New York City. Although we are all Americanized, but like many Asians we still holding on to some Eastern culture for girls, for an example, is keeping their hair long. All my sisters had their hair grew down to the waist, so was my Chinese girlfriends and they were all born in New York City. These young ladies, however, all had their hair cut to shoulder length when they reach in their late twenties or early thirties.
