As a 24 year old listen to this kid guys all he is saying is just try to reach the goals you want if you try and dont give up you can reach them... i should listen and get back into streaming and content
this is the first time I relate to these types of videos. it's crazy how I was thinking about this same thing in this video's topic yesterday. I put so much pressure on myself to get better and at so many things to be the best when in reality it's making things harder. So I am really thankful for this video and your advice. It really helped me, as I was going through everything you mentioned in the video. thanks again!
thanks man, I really appreciate the honesty poured into this video. I've been really struggling mentally recently so I've started to take stressors off of myself, and while I haven't done it in the best or most "acceptable" way, I've felt somewhat better. just trying to get through this lmao
I think for most ppl and myself included is probably the fear of failure, it’s not that we are afraid to fail so we don’t do it either but rather we keep thinking and thinking about it tryna to form the most full proof plan, and even after that we don’t start cuz we feel like we might have missed something and we might fail, even if the failure won’t be a disadvantage to us it’s like we just don’t dare to do it until we know 100% it will work out which in fact we can never know for 100% lol
That’s the thing, nothing is 100%. However, you just need to be delusional enough to think it is. The biggest thing that held me back when I was competing in Valorant and growing on RU-vid/business was that I was too hung up on the emotions I had and the thoughts of others about me. Trust me, if you have a true and honest passion/desire to peruse something, peruse it. Don’t even tell yourself “if all else fails I can always fall back on x…” Just try to truly believe that YOU can do it, genuinely speak it into existence, because if millions of others can do it, then why can’t you too? Well that’s only coming from me who replaced his part time job with something he GENUINELY loves doing and doesn’t even feel like a job and from multiple people I know who have and ARE achieving their dreams as we speak. Be delusional and BE PASSIONATE, and of course never stop trying.
i’m 21, and this is super helpful :) i’m b3 after playing since beta (embarrassing) but i want to get diamond by next season, and i’m inspired to actually work at it haha
the most thing hit me hard bro and i really felt it deep down is " Just start" as i was keep delaying my progress for so long now and giving excuses to my self, i heard it a lot but i never felt it as now, thankfully i am now in stable good paying job in my 28, and currently trying to lose weight as i gained a lot and trying to get Immortal in Valorant
Just start was one of the best pieces of advice that I was given. I know it’s obvious but many still feel scared or don’t “believe” they can do something without even starting in the first place. Keep working hard brother and I’m glad you are doing amazing!
It’s not my gameplay, all players I use as background footage is linked down in the description! Show them some love all of them deserve way bigger of an audience!
I would say it is worth it HOWEVER you must understand prioritized with goals. Not all goals will hold the same value UNLESS you put immense value to it. For example you can still have a goal to reach immortal in Valorant, BUT this should not be a goal that is over more important things in your life that you also place importance, such as physical goals, financial goals, academic goals and etc. Trust me, you are able to reach immortal while putting in on the “social fun category” of your life or your first track, but the second track should be reserved for your life long mission / dream not a silly little png rank
I relaized that in the intro , he told that he achieved acamdemics weight loss business. Sponsor shortly afterwards immortal youtube . You will become my eole model now for sure I am good at acamdenics but never balanced valorant so play a month and do not play 2 months
Hey rooney, i have played the game for 700 hours+ and in still in bronze. I dont know what wrong bur i Think its mindset but idk 😭 btw it has ben my Dream to get out of the metal Ranks for 2 plus years
Start with the basics brother. If you haven’t already you should be spending less time playing ranked and more time practicing the fundamentals. I would say a solid routine would be 20-30 mins of aim labs (any aim routine works but woohoojins is pretty good), 2-3 dms strictly focusing on ALWAYS aiming at head level, and lastly play 2-4 ranked games a day at full focus and if you find your focus slipping, stop playing and take a break and start it again tomorrow. This was quite literally the routine that took me from iron - immortal in just 1 month twice, but obviously don’t expect the same results as me but this is the BARE minimum you should be doing
@@rooneyFPS thank you very much. I haven really had a "aim routine" just a few swiftplays and tdms and then ranked, i will surely try your recommendations🫡
Don’t worry, no matter what stage you are in life right now, you HAVE time. I am fortunate to be able to find my “purpose” pretty early on in life, however don’t compare yourself to others, only focus on what YOU enjoy and what YOU think you can do for the rest of your life and continue to feel inspired , joy, and fulfilment from. I would start with the basics of is it something that is a creative passion like art, music, creating content? Or is it something to do with the social aspect of helping others or helping the less fortunate or perhaps teaching? Gather your thoughts and really think about it and take it from there!
To be completely honest, never read The book but the author is very respectable and loved his analogy on how to stay on track with your purpose. Let me know how the book is!
