Me too, me too.. scorpio cranes have the same thing. They curve up when there’s nothing on the end.

I always thought thats due to bent roll axial.

Yes and no, a bent roll axel with exacerbate the problem

I normally operate movi pro with handheld when shooting MVs/Performances. I usually keep the tilt balance bottom heavy as you do but what's your recommendation if you go dutch angles a lot? Still bottom heavy is more helpful than top heavy?

I would always balance tilt fully neutral. I wouldn’t worry about balancing for Dutch angles unless the motors are giving out. I’d more be worried about bad roll balance on a black arm or something where the ronin is swinging wildly but the goal is to have a level shot

@@chrisherr Oh I meant bottom heavy relative to the roll axis ;) Yeah you are right about with black arm maybe that's why we should consider movi XL on those cases.
