Tbh the reverse is more accurate lol. Silverfish irl aren’t much of a problem at all, and don’t attack humans. Some people don’t even mind them hanging around. Silverfish in Minecraft will swarm and kill you.
I do not really mind them, but maybe I am talking about a different species, they mainly stay low close to the floor and not in my kitchen cupboards, there are other insects which bother me more like flour beetles in my rice or moths eating my clothing.
Same here. Got some living under the fridge, definitely silverfish but they’re well behaved and just eat any crumbs they come across. Occasionally they fall prey to the kitchen spiders, and I like spiders too. I actually enjoy watching them eat sometimes, though they’re only ever seen in around 2-4am and are and flee to their shelter when lights turn on. Never touched any stored food or books, never even seen any higher than the floor!
@@tarheelcountry1868never had an issue with that thankfully. I have some that have lived in the kitchen, under the fridge or in cracks, for years which I initially tried to relocate outside but eventually let them stay. Never touched stored food or books; they’re only ever on the floor, and the cupboards and stuff are smooth so I doubt they’d enjoy climbing them, and only seen around 2-4am, even then only sometimes. Spiders also eat them so I’m happy for them to stay as I like spiders.
I mean, not always. They only eat starchy foods and binder in books. I have some living in the kitchen who haven’t caused any damage and just scavenge crumbs that aren’t vacuumed off the floor. Haven’t tried to get rid of them as they’re harmless and spider food too. I actually enjoy watching them eat sometimes 😂 call me crazy idc. I only ever see them when it’s been dark in the kitchen for a while, usually around 2-4am, and mainly in Summer.
