@@Axel_Crimson_Jericho on console most of the time the settlers or followers simply tell you no when you tell them to do something that would make them exit.😂
I ain't letting no settlers touch my power armor collection. I literally go to the gas station and have my own private sanctuary. I have only one suit I let them have. That was a spare raider power armor that I had laying around. It only had the helmet and one leg and arm, but once I got enough extra pieces, I took it back. I went through the trouble of fighting monsters to get those. I also let them stay at the sanctuary rent-free and food. A threat comes you better use those god-given hands...
@@round105 that's definitely fair. When I get access to power armor shops with renewable parts and I'm filthy rich I buy up the armor and frames for my security people.
That's when you have the whole town in the random mix of power armor from your adventures that's you can't be bothered to fix or deal with so they can try to look cool but yours just looks better and is locked away in a concrete bunker.
From an experience I had: Never leave your suit of power armor unoccupied in a settlement with the fusion core still IN IT. To make it worse if your settlement gets raided by raiders and one of the raiders gets in your power armor...
I had that happen to me today. I was only out of it for like 30 seconds when the raiders turned up and stole it is so annoying that you can’t get the frame back after you kill them
I found enough power armor to outfit everyone in Sanctuary Hills with it. Everyone lives in a single house that I crammed as many beds as possible into, while two entire house foundations are packed with my suits of power armor.
If you do the Nuka world quests first and convert all of the farmer settlements to raider settlements and then rescue Gravey after that... Does he still give out those farm quests? 🤔 ... "another raider settlement needs our help" 😂
OMG! The look on his face and the glasses shaking as he said "I'm sorry, the farmer?" completely embodied my feelings every time one of those settlers would steal my power armor (until I learned to remove the fusion cores).
I always removed power cores because I didn’t feel like leaving power in it if I wasn’t using it. Then I left it alone on my 4th playthrough and was SO confused when I saw a random settler walking around Starlight in my armor.
This is why I have made a habit of always taking my fusion core out of my power armor at a settlement the second I get out of it. In an emergency the settlers will get in power armor to use it. You can only tell your companions to get out of it when they’re with you.
THIS is why as a kid I always assumed that the arc reactor in Tony's chest was the only one for any of the armors. Only for the movies to like IMMEDIATELY shatter that before avengers even comes out. Keep your fusion cores in your inventory
I actually found an amazing mod that goes perfectly with the sentinel control creation club add one. It basically turns you into iron man, and allows you to use your power armor like normal, but when you exit it you have the option to either leave it there like normal, or active it and have it follow you around as a second companion. I love this mod since it basically ensures my power armor is always where I want it to be and doing what I want it to do.
That is the exact reason whenever I step out of my power armor I always take the fusion core out. I learned that lesson when I stepped out of one near diamond City and a diamond City guard stole my power armor and refused to get out
Always pull your fusion cores The nearly empty ones sell for the same price as the full ones too, so its useful to top them up when they're less than 20% anyways.
Literally every time I get out of my power armor I take out the fusion core, but I usually leave a couple power armors around my settlements for my people that live there my settlers
Cricket stole a set from a settlement during an attack. I cant get it back and now she is the baddest trader wandering the wasteland with her tweeked out self.
My followers keep losing their power armor, spawning in to weird spots around Kingston lighthouse. They'll spawn like on the roof and just leave their armor up there
In the next fallout game I want a random encounter with a farmer wearing power amour and a vault dweller yelling at him to get out but the farmer even acknowledge him
Sometimes I put a roof on a Sanctuary house and put my power armor there. I use stairs I have to jump up to a little bit, or a fast travel mat to access my stuff.
I remember coming back one time and some random no name Settler was in my old power armor and multiple pieces were missing, he didn’t live too long after that
I once left a fusion core in my xo1 power. Armor came back to the settlement after seeing that it was being attacked and it was almost completely broken
