You need to try it in VR! Feels sooo real. I too have landed a plane in real life. I also have had MS Flight sim for a very long time. But nothing feels more real than flying in VR (other than actually flying, of course)
7:00 the warning is for differential pressure, meaning that the air pressure inside the cabin is too high for the altitude that you are at. You need to raise the cabin altitude (lower the pressure inside) or descend the aircraft (increase the pressure outside) in order to avoid damaging the aircraft. If the pressure differential gets too high, well, think of what happens to a tire if you over-inflate it.
If you notice the Military Hurricane Hunters in their C130J's enter the storm at the the 225° off north, because that is the winds are slightly less turbulent.
My home got hit by hurricane Ian, my home was in the zone A so we were all told to evacuate since there were going to be up to 16ft floods and cat 5 winds. When I came back from evacuation it was devastating, trees on the grounds, traffic lights on the ground, people robbing things when homes and busy are unoccupied, boats thrown onto land, roofs taken off, etc. I hope the best to all who have also been hit by this catastrophic storm.
That's LaGuardia at 7:43. Cabin DIFF CAS means that cabin differential pressure is too high (difference of pressure inside vs outside the plane), im not familiar with this plane but you either need to descend or raise the cabin altitude
Ive been waiting so long for you to return to MSFS! And Im glad you did with a BANGAR! It would be cool to do more of these and XP!@! Great job lucaas!
Lucaas, when you jumped over the truck crossing the runway, you were taking off from KRDG (Reading Regional Airport)... the primary “controlled field” where I learned to fly! The simulator video was very fun, and you made it hilarious! 😂
Really disappointed the algorithm didn’t pick this video up. I remember when you did GTA Flight videos, and I really enjoyed that, and glad you are continuing those types of videos rather then WDOA!
If there's somewhere a real hurricane - you can turn on real weather and see the eye and everything without any mods. I managed to make a loop around the eye just following the wind direction indicator :P
I think that mod needs some more work because the wind was not factored in for landing at the airport in Florida with that hurricane while flying an F-18 unless I missed something.
I absolutely love your Flight Simulator videos as well as the weekly dose of aviation. Keep up the good work cause this is something I look forward to on a weekly basis.
Decent crab but you didn't put in enough rudder after the flare and initial touchdown to compensate. Also, yeah, looking down while trying to land is not ideal...
A hurricane in the northern hemisphere is turning anti-clockwise, so if you'd like to have the maximum contrast in velocity, then you should probably enter the eye-wall while going clockwise around it. Also, highest velocities are closer to the ground, say bellow 10,000 ft instead of 20,000 ft. I don't know if all these are incorporated within the physics of this MFS mod, but it's worth a check...
The eye wall needs a constant "bulging" animation of "bulges" flexxing in and out along the eye wall. It looks too solid or it needs a gif mapping on the wall of moving cloud whisps
Bro should’ve waited a couple of days, could’ve just used the live weather lol. I’m down here right now and luckily my town didn’t get hit even tho it was looking pretty bad. I have friends and fam in the state and thankfully their also all good, bad thing is my cousin lives up in Orlando and it ain’t looking to good rn
Hurricane Ian passed Florida and orlando we are safe now there was no connection but it came back that is to the people that fixed the connection and thanks to god the hurricane became clouds
