I'm suprised that Nia hasn't written more comedies. God knows we need comedy. There are not enough great comedy writers out there.❤ She's a great actress too!!!
I love knowing that Nia is living her creative life and deciding on happy. Yes! I would LOVE to see her one woman show performance of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. It has to exist somewhere even bootlegged moments. Wouldn't it be awesome if there was a professionally released version created someday? Vai!
It is worth to wait for my big fat greek wedding part 3 ... still have so many intens feelings with the other moties Just Great ! Greeting from Holland.
9:00 awful I was one of those ICU RN healthcare workers who didn't get a raise who didn't get paid time off we had to use our own sick time if we got sick, who are forced to get a vaccine and who were working while the rest of the world was safe at home. I know not everybody was safe at home but it's just a saying. Holding patient's hands will face timing their family to say goodbye, putting on their favorite song if they were on a ventilator, excetera PTSD at its finest. Well now I can't walk or work I'm in a wheelchair and I was just widowed the same day my dad died. I wish we had even gotten a discount in the cafeteria at the hospital. So, belated thank you for helping do what you did during the pandemic❤
I loved the Wedding movies!!! She’s a great actress!! Hope her life has been what she dreamed!! I love the guy that played her husband also!!! But there were a bunch of very popular older actors in the Wedding movies too!!!
❤❤ Okay I'm an old man now But if it's a Sunday afternoon I'm having Sunday lunch I always watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding1 and 2 when I want to have a good laugh 😅😂 Especially if things are not going well or looking good I understand the story and see where it goes But it does my good sense and it's all very Close to the truth Depending are you located almost very close to my grandparents and for some reason I always think of them in the same way you would I do look forward to watching the new film my Greek wedding 3 I've always been fond of the actress she's got beautiful brand eyes and a wonderful smile And she's always cheerful no matter what I know she's a great writer and a great Big personality and a great actor Just a person you could sit down to and have a coffee Especially looking at the sea and a beautiful surrounding I think she would top it off for me I always miss you the best and I hope she does something different I will always follow her probably to the diet I go
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3: A Slow Descent In the world of cinematic sequels, the stakes are often high, and expectations can be even higher. "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3" attempted to recapture the magic of the original film that stole our hearts years ago, but sadly, it falls short in several ways. While it's not entirely devoid of charm, this instalment lacks the spark and vivacity that made its predecessor a beloved classic. One of the most glaring issues with this film is its pacing. The story unfolds at a sluggish pace, making the two-hour runtime feel like an eternity. Unlike the first film, which had a delightful energy and a constant sense of progression, this sequel meanders through its narrative, leaving the audience longing for more engaging moments. A significant let-down in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3" is the script itself. The witty and culturally rich humour that defined the original is notably absent. It's almost as if the writer lost touch with the essence of Greek culture this time around. The vibrant characters from the first film are still present, but their interactions lack the depth and authenticity that made them endearing in the first place. It's as if the scriptwriter relied on recycled gags and stereotypes rather than exploring the richness of Greek traditions and family dynamics. Moreover, the film struggles to find its footing when it comes to its storytelling. The original had a clear beginning, middle, and end, with a satisfying arc for its characters. In contrast, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3" feels disjointed and lacks a well-defined narrative structure. It fails to provide a compelling reason for revisiting these characters after all these years. Despite a talented ensemble cast reprising their roles, including Nia Vardalos and John Corbett, the lackluster material they have to work with limits their ability to shine. While they do their best to inject life into the film, the uninspired script and plodding pace are significant obstacles to overcome. In the end, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3" is a disappointing follow-up to a beloved classic. It struggles to capture the magic and charm of the original, feeling like a missed opportunity to further explore the cultural richness and humour that endeared audiences to this Greek-American family. While it may offer a few nostalgic moments for fans of the first film, it ultimately falls flat and leaves us wishing for a more inspired sequel.
I LOVED the movie and was so anxious to watch the sitcom but I was so disappointed that I only watched one episode. It was so different from the movie.
Only innacurate part of new film are the ashes of her dad in an urn over fireplace. Cremation is against the Greek Orthodox Church. Would NEVER allow cremation. They added the urn in for a laugh but she should have known this.
Especially the part of her real life husband playing the clerk who gestured he would be interested in a little hanky panky in order to expedite her problem in film. Her hubby played the role like a true Greek like Anthony Quinn in zorba
0:40 why don't they try again. The world has changed we need sitcoms back we need a friends and a Seinfeld and a Dharma and Greg to make us laugh at least once a week
@@vassa1972 100% YES. Im from Macedonia…the Region in Greece. I think you might be confusing us with the Bulgarian speaking people who were recently baptized as North Macedonia. It is important to note that those people have ZERO to do with that History & this Region 👍
