Owned a ZZR1100 for a while and it was epic. I'd love a ZZR1400 but don't have the space or the funds at the moment. One day though...one day!

I'm 6'1" and have just bought and started riding on a suzuki gsx-s 125. Its been absolutely brilliant so far. I find bikes where i can sit into them with a slightly lower seat make it way more comfortable and fun to ride, rather than be lurched over the top of the bike like a unicycle like i did with a grom on my cbt.

I went straight from a Yamaha XSR125 to ZZR1441 PS last year It’s all about the right wrist at the end of the day and stay lawful It’s easily manageable as long as you don’t go crazy I even rode it down to ZZR Works a specialist in Worthing from Buckinghamshire for a full service and valves checked on the 10th day I had it

Even a 600 can easily get you in trouble if you don't respect just how quickly they can get you there.

I’m currently doing my license class on a very old Honda rebel 250, thing is thing, but it’s honestly a blast

I started road riding on a '97 ZZR250, and honestly I love every minute of riding that bike. So easy & fun to ride. I also have a '99 ZZR600 that I'm in the process of repairing after a small accident. They can actually go fairly hard for a 600, even if they are fairly 'overweight' for their cc by modern 600 sport bike standards. I love my ZZR600 though, I feel perfectly comfortable riding her out on the open road, I can ride for hours and feel sore or tired, it's the perfect bike for my preferred riding style, which is sport-touring.

Self control and common sense are the main factors. The majority of people who ride these bikes tend to be a little more of risk takers and adrenalin junkies, so typically it doesn't go hand in hand as a good idea.

I love that bike and Kawasaki, but it appeared after the horse had bolted. The speed wars ended in 99 with the Busa, and its still going strong, its a legend. The ZZR doesnt draw the attention of a Busa. I took my old gen1 to my lads school, the kids loved it...that name is a legend. Kawi were late to the party.

I agree and at my level its way to much for me, my gsx650f is plenty quick enough for me, and thats super heavy

Last bike a ZRX-1100. Fast forward 20 years, and bought a 2024 ZX-14R. What was I thinking? Anyway, learning to ride again, learning a new bike. Do love the engine, 3/4" risers to try to take some strain off the wrists/hands. Let me know what you think.

Bought it 6 months ago, only disappointment is the bike is "castrated" all the way to 6000rpm, after which the power comes in. Not exactly my cup of tea, am looking for a power commander or a TRE which work very well in forcing the secondary valves open at much lower RPM, I need that Low RPM troque so badly, tho they say it might become uncontrollable, I ll see about it...

True. The big picture with this bike is that it's capable of warp-speed, knowing when and how to use that takes ages' worth of experience. Want to overtake ten cars in one go with not much room before oncoming cars are in the picture? No worries. Alternatively, ride it in 'dickhead territory' for long periods of time like you can with a 600 and you're not going to be around long. Discipline and smarts required. Plus yeah it's cramped & nowhere near as comfy as people say -.-

To start at the top with bikes and no skill, well best of luck to those that do.
