Assalamu Alaikum, Ustadh in the free Arabic language recordings, there are no assignments sections in book 2 and most probably in book 3 also. Please add these sections as they will be helpful in sha Allah. Secondly, telegram is not accessible in my country. Please suggest a solution, if any. Jazak Allah Khairan

If I’m not mistaken, we must forgive Muslims but we don’t have to forgive unbelievers who have wronged us or continue to wrong us… the forgiveness of Muslims is a must because we are told to forgive so Allah can turn to us in forgiveness, but unbelievers will be thrown into the fire so it’s a different category for them… obviously when you can forgive anyone, but there are some things that are impossible you forgive if they’re not Muslim. Is this the case as per Hadith’s?

In general forgiveness is encouraged even towards the non-muslims. The Prophet sallallahualayhi wasalam was extremely patient against the kuffar in many situations, and did not seek revenge everytime he was wronged. However, one must differenciate between forgiving someone when we are wronged personally, and when the transgression is against the deen of Allah, and Muslims. In these cases forgiveness is not recommeded. Allah knows best.

“And if you punish [an enemy, O believers], punish with an equivalent of that with which you were harmed. But if you are patient - it is better for those who are patient” [an-Nahl 16:126]

"O believers! ˹The law of˺ retaliation is set for you in cases of murder-a free man for a free man, a slave for a slave, and a female for a female. But if the offender is pardoned by the victim’s guardian, then blood-money should be decided fairly and payment should be made courteously. This is a concession and a mercy from your Lord. But whoever transgresses after that will suffer a painful punishment. There is ˹security of˺ life for you in ˹the law of˺ retaliation, O people of reason, so that you may become mindful ˹of Allah˺." 2:178-179 'Mandates' is an incorrect term as Allah says, "If you retaliate, then let it be equivalent to what you have suffered. But if you patiently endure, it is certainly best for those who are patient." 16:126

@@vibstudios2505 ''But if the offender is pardoned by the victim’s guardian, then blood-money should be decided fairly and payment should be made courteousl'' this part is not written in the text you are lying

@@reconscout2238 "فَمَنۡ عُفِىَ لَهٗ مِنۡ اَخِيۡهِ شَىۡءٌ فَاتِّبَاعٌۢ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ وَاَدَآءٌ اِلَيۡهِ بِاِحۡسَانٍؕ" is the part you are referring to, the translation I showed you is Dr. Mustafa Khattab's translation. Different translators may translate it slightly different but basically with the same meaning, so for example, "But whoever overlooks from his brother [i.e., the killer] anything, then there should be a suitable follow-up and payment to him [i.e., the deceased's heir or legal representative] with good conduct." -Saheeh International's translation, or "However, if one is somewhat forgiven by his brother, the recourse (of the latter) is to pursue the former (for blood money) with fairness, and the obligation (of the former) is to pay (it) to the latter in a nice way." - T. Usmani's translation. If this is what you mean. However, if you are telling me that this ruling is completely NOT in the text, then you are incorrect, because it IS in the text and probably you are using an inaccurate translation.

However, if you are saying, the translation you use is not 100% word-by-word accurate with the one I shared, such that certain terminologies may not be the same as yours, let me inform you that I shared you Dr. Mustafa Khattab's translation. Different translations may vary in such tiny matters, but the ruling mentioned in the verse is the same.

Did he forgive the ppl he went to war with? No He treated war criminals as Allah guided him to But he did not forgive his enemies. Stop making Islam to be doormats. This is the end times. Prepare for jannah Give up the dunya

He didn't forgive his enemies? Are you sure about that? What about the time the Prophet (saw) forgave the people of Quraish at the conquest of Mecca? They killed many of his companions, yet he forgave them. There are many examples of the mercy of the Prophet (saw) in the sunnah, one is mentioned in this video. There are verses of the Quran where Allah encourages patience and forgiveness, "There is no blame on those who enforce justice after being wronged. Blame is only on those who wrong people and transgress in the land unjustly. It is they who will suffer a painful punishment. And whoever endures patiently and forgives-surely this is a resolve to aspire to." 42:41-43 "If you retaliate, then let it be equivalent to what you have suffered. But if you patiently endure, it is certainly best for those who are patient." 16:126
