I completely agree. I've had my wicked 55 inch grapple and while I've only used it twice, it's a very efficient and handy tool.

I ordered my 55" Wicked grapple from them April 27th. They said it will ship early next week, October 6th! It's taking quite a while but it's worth the wait for sure! Great video!!

Thanks for the video. OK I'm convinced I need a grapple to clean up a 15 acre woodlot. I'm 99% ordering the Wicked Root Grapple dual lid. Maybe you could give us your thoughts on importance of the grapple width . $35 price and 33 pounds increase to go to from the 54" to the 60". I have a 3,000 pound 35hp tractor with 1,800 lb lift capacity. Appreciate any thoughts. 🤠🚜🍻

The EA Wicked grapples are amazing. You won't be disappointed. The dual lid is also the way to go. I think that would be $35 well spent. Bigger is always better, right? You definitely want to get something that gets well outside your front tires. As you take it and bulldoze into brush you want to be sure you have your front end covered. Plus just overall more capacity is hard to argue against.

Are you happy with the lift capacity of the JD 4066? I know it's not top in class but it seemed to handle that sycamore without much trouble (but it was hollow, not near the weight of an oak or walnut log of the same length). Thanks.

Standard or Mega? ... Dont have my 4052R yet but supposed to come in an August? Is this the standard grapple from EA or the "mega" that is supposed to be for tractors that go up to 65 HP? I am leaning towards the Mega but curious which you have? And if the standard would you upgrade to the Mega if you could? If it is the Mega is it overkill?

That's the 66" or 72". I can tell by spacing between the lids. The 54" and 60" are a lot closer together.

No, I don't think I would ever want to go more narrow than 72" on a tractor this size. Given how grapples are used, I would want to ensure that it was definitely wider than my tires. Try to prevent sticks/logs/brush from getting to them.
