What makes this bike different is how it’s driven. There’s no chain. It’s a belt drive system ensuring a very quiet ride. There’s also no gears so going up a steep hill takes teamwork… with your legs, the pedals, and the 350W motor all working together.

Great video! Thanks for giving honest feedback. I'm gonna check out your other videos. Gears with Gates Belt: There's so called "Pinion" gears, where all the gears are tucked away into the back wheel, super expensive, but it's also 0 maintenance and in almost every way superior to what we use as gears in the last 100 years. Company is founded in Shenzhen, says Crunchbase. You have that below already. P.S.: What would have been great is if you had shown the slope that worked for you, and the slope that was too much for you.

Hi Mike, Tenways is not a Dutch brand, their HQ is in the Netherlands but they are a Shenzhen, China based company. Some assembly done in Lithuania (EU). But they offer a very cool simple city e-bikes. Their more expensive models do have gears!

Correct, Tenways is a Chinese company, but has its European headquarters in Amsterdam. The company's full name is: ShenZhen Tenways Technovation Limited.

Tenways has the AGO T with a Enviolo Stepless Shifting Hub, it's about the same as a 12 gear hub! But that bike is 2700,-. I am sure you can find a cheaper E-Bike with the Enviolo Stepless Shifting Hub and Gates belt.

Hi, pretty bike for young folks. Presta valves are older than me. I'm 68. I have said bel drive is he way to go. Harley & Suzuki listened. I have 12v air horns on my Engwe Pro2.

The tire valves are called Presta valves, Mike? Higher end race bikes usually always use them?

even though I like it and I'd like to buy it, the turn signal looks a sh!t. I can barely see the light on. I have to cycle on a couple of moderate hill to get to work but it looks like you were doing great on that steep hill

@Communistgunmc if I want to constantly peddle a bike I'd just buy a normal bike. If I pay for an electric bike I shouldn't have to constantly peddle it to get it to move.
