I agree with you on the fact that ppl should grind these challenges for the free cars bc they’re totally worth it but buying a tuner car to do so isn’t necessarily a necessity, coming from someone who’s won every prize ride since i got back on GTAO back in Feb I have only used my tuner vehicles a handful of times, i suggest being the host for the races and turning off custom vehicles the races go much smoother and honestly i ALWAYS complete the challenges much easier and this way ppl don’t have to spend money on a tuner vehicle and win an expensive prize ride too!
I do like races with custom vehicles off as I think it then comes down more to driver than car. Maybe add non contact if I want less carnage at the start or during the race.
@@AfterMidnightGamer i usually turn off custom vehicles, catch-up, and split stream bc i do like to see ppl actually have the absolutely fairness and this way we can see who can drive
My only buyer beware for the tuners is to be careful, its a slippery slope after buying a car. First you make your first car, next thing you know you're addicted to racing and the car scene 😂😂. To add a top 100 tuner racers thoughts to this video, calico, while not my favorite, is easier to get a good lap time in, as its acceleration is top class. The vectre (my choice) is for sure up there, but you're putting all your faith in corners, so its better for more experienced players. And the sultan, is honestly what id recommend 3rd, its a great car but its traction hurts it a lot. Great video overall! Just thought id give my thoughts for noobies as i have a lot of races in all these cars :) Edit: also, pursuit races make me wanna die, i recommend avoiding them unless you absolutely cant 😂
Dude, you have great content with no selling b/s, or pushing to buy this or that for your channel. I appreciate and respect you very much bro. Keep those awesome vids coming!
bruh literally i was just wondering this yesterday cuz i got the retinue and thought “dang if i want to keep getting these cars, i need to invest in a tuners car”
To add my advice and experience with these cars Calico - Good acceleration and top speed but suffers with understeer. Found to be more beginner friendly as acceleration helps. Vectre - Decent acceleration but less top speed, good cornering ability, slight oversteer when pushing. Sultan - Acceleration and top speed right in middle of other two. Personally find it more prone to oversteer. I started with the Calico and it served me well in races until I got more experienced and then switched to the Vectre.
Personally I found the vectre more suitable for beginners because the turning of the car is much more agile and is less likely to spin. The understeer of the calico makes it almost impossible to enter harsher turns with its high speed while the oversteer of the vectre can be controlled once you've got the gist of how the car usually spins out. The understeer of the calico is also somehow different each time which makes it incredibly annoying as you can't predict what speed to enter a turn. Either ways both are great cars I guess :)
My pick would be Vectre/Jester RR for Street Races and Calico for Pursuit Races(Vectre/Jester RR and ASP are also good options for this race type). But in the end it falls down to what car feels best for you, i know Sultan RS is good but the way it feels just doesn't suit my driving style.
@@julianhau757 You make a good point there. The reason I was saying the Calico was more beginner friendly was because newer players are more than likely not going to know racing lines. I see the Calico with it's good acceleration as a very good point and squirt type of car.
@@Winland88 I do love the look of the Jester RR but think the Vectre is better if you are facing opponents that are the same level as you racing wise. I totally agree with the Calico for pursuit races. I have the same issues with the Sultan as you do, for me the back end seems to want to step out way too easily for me, i've even tried different suspension setups and I still have the same issues.
I’m not gonna lie my favourite tuner looks wise is the S2 (Porsche) but the vehicle I use to win in a race is the Calico GTF. Vector is also a good option for really good handling
Just do the Perico heist solo elite challenge and save yourself the trouble of grinding out races. I personally suck at races. I’d rather just buy what I want instead of trying to earn it. Don’t buy shark cards either unless you got the money. Just grind it out boys 🤞🏻
my biggest tip would be if you have friends that has all the race eligible tuners vehicle, go give them a try first because what i have noticed is all tuners cater to a different driving style, it all comes down to what feels more comfortable for you in corners and from my experience, the calico is not very beginner friendly. I only suggest getting it when you feel comfortable with high corner speeds and power sliding because the brakes on the calico is like a wet noodle when you don't know how to use it at first but eventually you will get used to it. All the cars are well balanced but you will have your best lap times if you find the car you're most comfortable with using
I bought the Sultan RS Classic, kitted it out, and it wouldn't let me choose it when i did the street race. I could pick the stock Sultan, but not mine. It would let me pick my Dominator GTT, and Growler, but that's it.
I have the Jester RR. Vot it on a discount so only 850 000 or so plus upgrade set me back to its actual price standard. It has a high end top speed and handles about as good as Calico. Though I see Calico in 1st very often.
My fully modified calico gtf has won me almost every prize ride ever learn the short cuts and you can’t go wrong is great fun once you know exactly where to go braking times etc
My go-tp cars for tuner racers are Dominator ASP and Jester RR. Good, skill-dependant choises. And i love these cars irl (Mustang SVT Cobra and Supra gen V)
Your talking about handlingbut the first car you talk about is the Calico a vehcile with one of the worst turn bases in GTA the new Declasse Granger 3600LX a huge ass SUV has a better turn radius than the Calico the primary selling point of the Calico is the Top Speed and the Acceleration with like 3 sentances ago you said wasnt that important in Street Series races... Vectre is really good though, and the Sultan RS Classic is good but it's pretty light and with the way people race in GTA you will get shoved into every wall imaginable. Overall the Vectre is the best out of these 3 in my opinion.
Harmnone, Eengamer and now this guy. All of them use Broughy1322 s test data without giving credit. They dont know what they re talking about but get subs n views thanks to other ppl work. And noobs worship them as greatest gta youtubers
I still wouldn't say people "NEED" a tuner, unless they want to do these missions and races, then ofc, that player will get a tuner...but no one NEEDS too :)
Another good reason for a tuner car is doing auto shop contracts. They may not pay as good as heists, still a decent amount and they are fun to do as well as a break from grinding Cayo or Casino all the time. I recommend doing them with more players as some of them can be hard to do solo and that will take out all of the fun.
You mean A tuners update vehicle. Vehicles were added with that update that were not even in a tuner class. Tuner, Muscle, and luxury were the classes added with that update, but don't mind me follow the heard. lol
jester rr - it’s literally a toyota supra mk5, not only that it’s literally way too op, beginner friendly with stock stats, but it’s able to keep up with fully upgraded cars and don’t get me started on the fully upgraded car it’s too powerful not only is it the best tuner car, it’s literally a supra lmao
You winning depends on who you race I can say the same thing so clearly you never raced me in Pursuit Race cause I win all the time I win so much that when some of the host see me join they kick me from the race before it starts lol And also everyone knows that the calico is the most dominant car in Pursuit race
Probably cause most people are just playing the street races for the first time. The jester is only like 2 seconds slower from my experiense but if you wanna get better lap times sultan or vectre is the way to go.
@@otothezee i wouldnt say it slides more than other cars, maybe cause you are going faster in it. Use max suspension if you don’t already it makes it more grippy
yeah I never really tried doing the challenges until a couple weeks ago and i realised how good they are. Also do you know when the next Broke to Billions it coming out??
The Sultan it doesn't like bumps a lot of oversteer very hard to handle if you are an average driver. The Vectre very good handling but it has bad acceleration its heavy you need alot of races to get used to it and learn the truck to be efficient. I will recommend Jester if you dont do much races
I don’t do the ls car prize for the sole fact there is too many imputes and outcomes of the race. But I have a hefty car garage of fully upgraded tuner cars. Then again haven’t seen a car I really like or wanted to win the last car I won on the slam van was the Annis remus
indeed, very good video for beginners, not everybody knows this fact. every single week you have free car to win, sometimes it is such a cool car like Adder few weeks ago, so buying and upgrading at least one tuner car is totally worth it! personally because of more important current investments and expenses i still stick with stock cars for now, they do their job, especially growler (i even won a pursuit race when Adder was on), but when i finish expanding all my businesses and other expenses, for sure i will buy and upgrade one, growler in green, or maybe comet S2 in blue, it is also sharp looking car :)
This help me out. I’ve been sleeping on these challenges but simply because I wasn’t sure which were the best cars to use. Thanks and I’ll be Competing
My friend: see’s car and wants it but isn’t good at racing. Me: bought the full price car and has the mk2 variant as well. Also me: “Ey bro start the race, we getting that car for you today.”
Only been subbed for a few days but this guys' content is top tier! only a matter of time until this guy is at 100k subs and then takes off! Love the Broke to Billions series too
As a guy that’s really into tuner cars and just cars and racing in general, it’s sad because of how gta races end up going most of the time, (people not knowing how to race, end up getting passed, and then crash into you ruining your race.)
This is what has turned me off from racing scene, its pretty damn fun when you have a race where most are clean drivers. I know there is non-contact option but that is a immersion killer and takes away strategic elements like blocking driving lanes so person behind you can't overtake etc.
Facts he knows from another youtuber but he gives him no credit. Giving laptimes out of nowhere without showing a race track means nothing. On top of that hes giving outdated numbers since tuner cars were modified in last DLC.
