Benja this was 'hardcore'. Most African's come from vulnerable backgrounds ( and I dont understand why WE just can't dream, workhard and flee from poverty). Thanks Benja, let those with ears listen. What you talked of is exactly my personal views. We are the change makers of our destiny. Being born in poverty is not a CRIME, anyone can get out of vulnerability. If they plan and work!work!work!. It's possible, you are a living testimony (thanks for being proud to share about your background). If you can do it, so can any African. 👏🏿👌🏿

Thanks Zulu for giving me the confidence to know I have made the right choices in life. I was brought up in that hardship, sleeping on a jamvi made from reeds, boarding school with its pathetic food was more comfortable than home. I have tried to improve our situation, but people can never see things from the same angle. My mum whose bills I take care of wants grandchildren and I just fail to understand humans, my siblings are married without financial stability. I just pray they do well coz I will not burden myself. I fear talking against our self-inflicted poverty lest I be labelled a snob, but going forward, I am going to be vocal. We have to shun poverty, it is ungodly.

The wisdom in this is great . The message is worthless and dearly deserved by people mostly in early their 20s ..I wish we can have radio and tv adds with this message to reach as many as possible.
