Thank you for sharing! I’m a parfumer beginner this information open new understanding of making formulas for me. I’m trying to make parfumé from aroma chemicals but stuck with making a thin pleasant smell, all smells very heavy like something with essential oils. Now I know that hedione may helps me with this ❤
So nice to see another informative and great video from you Dave! Thanks so much, I missed see videos from you and Alora. I took a break from perfuming but I just ordered some more aroma chemicals and will jump back in.
Welcome back Dave!! Nice to see you! I hope you do some more videos! We miss you! Wondering, have you got any Rum materials you can talk about? I want to try making an accord.
@@DenverDave Oh Awesome thank you! I'm about to buy rum CO2 and rum ether from perfume supply house. Dont know how they smell yet. But if you can give some suggestions that would be great.
Very cool video. May I ask you Sir, what would you layer Hedione with? I'm mainly interested in the type of scents that mix perfectly with Hedione. Can you give me a few examples of the best combo? Thanks a lot.
Can you tell me the difference between hedione HC and hedione Firmenich? Which one is more transparent? Also what is a better fixative, hedione or galaxolide? I’ve notice pure galaxolide is thick and even when warmed up it don’t mix well with a perfume. Thank you, I enjoy your videos
Hedione is not a fixative, but galaxolide is a clean musk fixative. Hedione is more jasmine and Hedione HC has a little magnolia aroma. Both are pretty transparent in aroma. Galaxolide should be diluted and used at 50%. Dave
Hello sir How are you ? I'm a perfumer from india I will make perfume from Natural Ingredients. Your videos are more Knowledgeable about Perfume Making.Thank you
Hi Dave. As much as one could say as a ‘rule of thumb’, if one were to use Hedione HC paired with IES 2:1 - so say 15%:8% - in a formula for men’s aftershave, how much HHC could - or would - one prudently add to or top up the final alcohol solution?
