I’m so sorry this happened to you. I often worry about this happening to me, as it’s my main source of income at the moment. I really don’t like being at the mercy of an app that could care less about you. However, I find that no other websites or apps get me the same traction / interest as Depop does. Things do sell on eBay, but it takes sooooo much longer.
This same exact thing happened to me, one thing I learned was to not only cross list but as you grow try to get your buyers to move to your website! No one can take away your website, it’s crucial for business owners & content creators. Having that direct access to your buyers (even if you just get their email) is priceless. I’m doing this now as I’ve relaunched my shop❤

There is a fantastic RU-vidr here called Tyler Moore. He will show you how to create your own website. With your own website you don't have to count on anyone. That should be your plan A. They are a joke. The amount of fakes I report and absolutely nothing happens to them. They are supposed to have a zero tolerance on fakes but they genuinely do not care at all
also on etsy does ur item have to be vintage to resell? i’m trying to resell demonias but they are not vintage so does that mean i can’t list it on etsy 😭
If you're not using Zipsale, does it ever get problematic if e.g. an item sells on depop and then again on ebay before you've had chance to take the ebay listing down? Though I suppose as a small shop starting out, you wouldn't be selling at such a rate where this would become an issue...? That's the thing that concerns me about crosslisting - keeping on top of what has sold where!
Yes, when you are starting out and there are not too many sales it is easy to manage and it's rare that you sell things twice accidentally. I would delete the duplicate as soon as I got the sale. I wouldn't let that put you off cross listing though- more sales is always good!
I think you might have to be logged in to actually search shops up I tried this on a computer I wasn’t logged into to check up on my shop as I didn’t have access to my phone and it didn’t come up even thou I knew it was active
