As a structual engineer student I truly appreciate all your efforts in these tutorials! I always find myslef going back to your channel when I'm stuck in Revit. Keep up the good work! Peace out from Norway ✌
Thank you for the enlightenment that you provide on daily basis. You are my an inspiration. Kindly make a video, ( preferably like the Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye ) integrating architectural model , structural and MEP together and how to tackle various related issues regarding the same. Also, few tips and tricks would be appreciated. Thank YOU.
I Live in a small city in Brazil and It is so hard to me find out a teacher who can talk about revit. Your videos are amazing and help me a Lot. Thanks Very much!
Thanks for the videos used to learn revit but now AutoCAD architecture Photoshop 3 d max but it seems that the cameras in revit are much better than even sketchup can you cover some topics from sketchup and 3 d max and AutoCAD architecture Photoshop tks by peter
I mean import and export another question is it possible to use the materials exported or imported can u do some videos covering these sub jects tks sir
Thanks for motivating me Balkan. I started studying BIM but I really find it so hard to learn until I stopped studying. You are right, I should start 1 step at a time.
BIM is about a lot of information ie 3D model and views, quantities, parametric functionality, colloboration ie Architecture, structure, MEP and different analysis, inteference check etc. which you can't find in Autocad
Sir, your videos are very informative . They helped me a lot to create building models along with basic civil engineering detailing drawing in revit. Your videos are fantastic for civil engineering students also.
OMG! the Mighty Balkan Architect seems getting younger YET its Revit expertise is getting better, as time goes on :-) again, thanks for sharing your knowledge on us sir.
Just subscribed Bro.Thank you for video and I am starting your tutorials on Revit . Please take some pause in between two sentences when you are showing how to do what you told in revit videos so that we can follow your process on our revit .Thanks
BIM is not only a 3D model. its concern with a lot of information such as parametric functionality, detail item, quantities, descipline ie architecture, structure and services ie colloboration and interference check
My point exactly - all of which can be created with other software, including those that I've mentioned. However, by the strictest definition BIM does not require parametric modeling, detailing, collaboration, et al. It's a 3D "building" "model" which can have "information" assigned. How that is implemented does not define what BIM is. Those have merely become common uses of BIM.
I'm sad. I must do a whole architecture project on Revit by Tuesday, and I'm having major complications now because it is my first time using it on my own without any help. I don't know barely anything about construction and now it's too late to redraw the whole thing on CAD. I'm in the verge of tears. If I don't get this done, I might have to repeat the whole semester :(
Thanks u for this video and u're clearly right about starting to learn Revit for acrchitects and engineers. Now I study at Moscow State University of Civil Engeneering and we've leant so many programms such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max even ArchiCAD(I guess, this programm unusible and can not compete with Revit). We've studied Revit for 1 year at classes and now we're trying to learn it by ourselves. And yet, it's so tough to go and find a good job or acrchitect bureau cause you gotta have a work experience by about a 1 year at least. So, how can we - students studying Revit - find a an interesting and well-payed job?
Юрий what do u mean by unusable and cant compete revit it was the first BIM sofware and they r using it all over the world for mega projects , i suggest to u to go and take a closer look at this great BIM software before judging , thx .
Sir I'm from India could you please give me an advice , as i have completed my engineering this year , and don't know exactly what to do .i have heard a lot about bim, is making career in bim worth in India in the upcoming years and what is the scope over here as compared to other core civil engineering field ?
Wow bro how much did youre school suck, when you talk about it like this? And can you share some tips on how to that much free time. Brw BIM program learning is a class that you have al least on my university, so every student that finishes university will know BIM. But i still prefer AutoCAD it's way more flexible can you tell us how do you model comlpex shape's in Revit?
I have no degree architecture but I completed 12th started and join Cadd Center start darftmen, AutoCAD and continue to revit. I have one question I complete revit get to job.how fresher and after experience how much salary
Can you explain us different ways to export the revit file into the Navisworks for the 4D simulation? I'm stadying BIM and I have the project to do 4D simulation and for that I have exported the Revit 2018 file into Navisworks 2018 but the file six=ze is too large of about 3.0GB abd it is not working into the navis works so Can you assist me with the better solution? Thanks
Great videos, however BIM is NOT Revit. Revit is one aspect of BIM. Building Information compromises a lot of different programs such as Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Adobe, Adobe Photoshop, etc, the list can go on. It also comprises of different methods of being able to resolve a problem with a building before it goes into Construction Administration.
Oh, guys, learn it! I am 34, live in Ukraine... And even here, where 90% of involved in construction industry people didn't hear about BIM, I clearly understand everyone not using BIM will extinct in a few years.
Find some beginner tutorials, and after that continue learning. Maybe start off with this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2TuhToCBJfI.html
