My mom at the age of 89 started to show some liver symptoms and so we took her to a doctor. The doctor asked for her medical records but there were none because she had not seen a doctor for any medical reason in all her years. Two things I attribute her good health to. I had calcium deposits between a few fingers. Started on a teaspoon of liquid cod liver oil (Rosita -cold pressed) and two months later they disappeared. A year has passed and calling it a super food is an understatement. My bones, eyes, joints are all stronger. Memory is clear. This stuff is amazing.

Yup, about the same here. Loving nut butters with dark chocolate. Having the nuts in buttered form helps me with digestion. Normally I prefer whole food but the nut butter change really helps me. Canned Cod liver is surprisingly good. I save the oil and take it over next few days.
I grew up as a little kid in the 1980s and 1990s with a most wonderful Jamaican woman who was like a Grandmother to us kids in a Group home. She used to have us line up every school morning to receive one tablespoon of Cod Liver Oil! The name on the bottle was: Seven Seas! Dr. Berg knows exactly what he is talking about! My mother used to line us three kids up and give us cod liver oil every morning. Sometimes she would mix it with orange juice to make it more palatable, but we grew to actually like the taste of it.

The EPA and DHA is too low with cod liver oil. Try getting 1g of EPA/DHA from cod liver oil. Same problem with krill oil. I get plenty of a,d,k from my diet and supplements.
I started the Carnivore diet 4 days ago and I’m eating a lot of meat including fishes like sardines. No veggies or nuts. Scary to do but I want to change. Something is happening atm. I will keep you all posted.
I watched the video on sardines and cod liver a few days ago. I’ve been eating sardines for years but never had the cod liver. I got a few tins and i must say it is delicious.

PFAS 😢. Great video 👍🏻 Cod liver in its own oil is awesome! However, there is one, in my opinion very disturbing recent scientific paper from the Dutch RIVM. They investigated PFAS in food products and tap water in the Netherlands. PFAS is found really everywhere inn comparable concentrations, but by far the highest amount was found in cod liver and cod liver oil. 5000% or 50x more than in other sources.

I had a hippie😂 friend decades ago, living on the northernmost beast of Aus east coast, Queensland, with toddlers. She got 32 boils and when the Lugger dropped off food every 3 months she got vitamin A, plus she was urgently getting a garden going. The vitamin A fixed her boils. Something to think about in prepping.

cod liver oil is also a super rancid... at a big leading manufacturer they are saying that 25% rancid oxidized oil is perfectly fine because the upper allowed level in EU is 26% ...

Years ago I used to take it, nowadays it is a bit different with pollution in the worlds oceans. How can you extract the pollutants that the fish now intake? Same goes for eating fish.

it was rare that we got sick, but we also had a lot of elderberry syrup growing up as we had those growing in our backyard, not to waste anything it was put into jam and syrup. I don't think "dis"ease could live in our veins...lol
Tell us the name brand of the supplement that is derived from organic sources. I don't want synthetic vitamins. I want natural D3 and cod liver oil. What are the names of the brands??? You can go get synthetic versions from store. Lanolin I believe? Where's the natural d3 and cod liver supplements?

@@G-J3 I am doing the low carb lifestyle first and foremost. I take two capsules daily of 650mg cod liver . Along with other supplements. And use CerVe moisture cream.
@@someoneyoudontknow7705 Cod liver oil is inherently oily anyway, so you can probably take it with any kind of food without it adversely affecting absorption of nutrients.
Would you rather suggest cod liver oil over it? Things are expensive out there and since I’m on a fixed income, I want to make the most out of what I can afford, but quality is first and foremost. Honestly, I always buy Dr. Berg brand, sometimes it may be a little bit higher, but the capsules are nons synthetic, which means healthy, I trust his products like I trust Dr.Berg, I order my products on Amazon

Just started taking cod liver oil, I also take a multi vitamin in the morning, but if I take them both are some of those overlapping vitamins and minerals not getting absorbed and are they being wasted?
