If you like puzzles you’ll love godox. V860iii is really convenient if you’re already in the ecosystem, but tough luck getting one repaired. Great vid!
Thanks Jorbin, completely agree - getting them fixed is a nightmare unless you bought from a good camera store. WIth that being said - the cost of a new godox about the same as repairing a canon 600exII so that's why we switched over.
To me the modelling light is not an added beneift. And recommending an upgrade due to convenience issue (=new menue system) seems not appropriate to me.
So i have seen a fews video which say M for master then ABCD .. but a few including yours and mine say ABCD ..where A is the master ... It's kinda stupid .. and it's not a firmware thing either .
Yeah it’s cultural now. And i get it. I once got caught talking about how one of my slaves (meaning flash) wasn’t working and the client got upset with me.
Yeah - I purchase from Strobepro in Canada and their service is fantastic but only as long as the product is under their warranty and after that - I find that I just have to replace the unit. Fine on the cheaper stuff - not so much on the more pricy stuff.
