Why You Need To Use Bryan’s Snake Pit (1+2 2) More & More In Your Daily Gameplay - TEKKEN 8 

If your opponent dodges the "1+2, 2 (Normal Hit), Heat Burst" combo with a quick tech roll to the right, you can go for a taunt setup after "1+2, 2" instead of wasting Heat Burst. To do that, after "1+2, 2 (Normal Hit)", you run up to your opponent, press back once and immediately taunt. This is a true taunt setup for both left and right tech rolls.

Please keep in mind 1+2,2 into heat burst is not a real combo, it loses to tech roll. That being said 1+2 is a great homming move. The extensions exist to further add mind games and mental stack to your opponent with decent risk/reward if you let it rip. However I would advise sticking with just 1+2 and playing the same mindset you would with DF2. Stay twisty Bryan bros.

They should really make this guaranteed with a heat burst tbh, if the opponent starts teching then the move becomes completely useless and no reason to throw it out. It's not like Bryan would be OP with it anyway

As far as I'm aware, you can also pick up with db+2 if you're fast enough. Scales very heavily, but still better than nothing if heat burst is no longer available. As with HB, tech roll gives a guaranteed taunt

2:50 I stopped doing qcf1+2 after the heat dash to finish up the combo because I sometimes also end up getting f1+2. I now do df4 since I can just mash it.

It really is inconsistent to land the heat burst tho, you have to do the tiniest microdash and then instantly heat burst for it to connect lol. Any tips on landing it or is it just a muscle memory thing?

I think 1+2, 2 is a natural hit combo now, the 2nd hit used to be not guaranteed on hit in tekken 7
